FANTASTIC! You make it look so easy! I’m gonna have to try this recipe soon. I also make TH-cam cooking videos. I love learning from talented creators like you!
@@LetsEatPlants Yes, you are thinking of the same candies as that is the name in the USA. In Canada Smarties are those candy coated chocolate buttons - those were a favourite too.
Thank you, David! I wasn’t sure if you would be interested, because I know you do not celebrate holidays, but you are absolutely right that these recipes can 100% be used any time of year. Thanks for the love and support! 🤗💕💕
I shall make these for my birthday. My birthday is on Halloween. And before you ask, I was a trick not a treat according to my mom. Oh...Kit Kats, at least before I stopped eating junk lol.
😆😆😆 Good point! Well with these you can make small batches (just melt less chocolate) and/or keep them in the freezer! I do that and then only take out a few at a time. 😊
Oh really!? That was my mom’s favorite as well… but probably *my* least favorite! 😆 My brother and I always used to give her ours from trick-or-treating. 😂😂 I thought about making something like them for this video though because I do think they’d be easy to make!! Just add some coconut to the date paste & top with almonds before coating in chocolate. 😛
What's your favorite (past or present!) Halloween candy?? Let us know in a comment down below! 👻🎃
A "whatchamacallit" was my absolute favorite
Oh I remember those!!! 🤩🤩 Yummmm. I bet those would be pretty easy to recreate as well! 🤔😄
Yes!

They’re all super easy! Definitely give them a go. 😊😊 Aww thank you, very kind of you to say!
Those look good. And I think I have everything on hand except for the peanuts. I love simple recipes.
Yay! You could always sub the peanuts for another nut too! 😁😁 Sometimes simple is the best! 💕
Awesome, I make the peanut butter cups but I love the snickers!!
I love those both as well! 🤗🤗
I always loved the chocolate bars (Reece’s ruled!!!) and rockets. I hated the candy kisses as a kid but loved them as an adult.
Ooooh kisses! Good one! 😄 Are rockets like smarties!? 🤔🤔

@@mamakins5123 Oh fun!! Didn’t know they’re called rockets here! 😆😆 And the smarties too. How funny we had such different names for them all. 😛
Love 😍Chocolate so will love ❤ those Candy bars Maddie and they are good for anytime. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕❤Maddie & Q.

@@LetsEatPlants Because I don't celebrate the holidays I just view the Candy bars as food.

😆😆😆 Happy early bday to you then! How fun to have a bday on Halloween. Good choice to make these to celebrate. 😄 Kit Kats were among my faves as well!
Not a baker but this looks easy
They are sooo easy! Give them a go! Just make sure the chocolate is set in the fridge or freezer well, and you’ll be great! 🤗🤗
I might just eat the chocolate from the bag
@@jimontgomery3865 😂😂😂 I do that as well!
Don't like the sweets as you know, but I do like the simple recipes!
Hahaha yes, simple is always best! 😆 Does your hubby like sweets?
@@LetsEatPlants yes but he doesn't like peanut butter and chocolate mixed. He likes things like cookies and pound cake.
@@BettyHorn Ahhh gotcha! A baked goods kinda guy. 😄😄😄
@@LetsEatPlants yep
I guess the hardest part of making these is not eating them all in one sitting afterwards. 😱 I'm not sure I have that kind of control. 😮😬

almond joy🙊

@@LetsEatPlants once you eat the almond from the middle, it becomes a mounds😁
@@NoPrivateProperty 😂😂😂 I can still hear the commercial 🎶 Almond joy’s got nuts… mounds don’t 🎶
Purdy's now have vegan chocolate products.
Omg I just recently saw that!! Can’t wait to try them. 🤩🤩 Have you tried them yet?
