Mumbai will miss Dahi Handi celebration

It’s that time of the year. For Dahi handi celebrations mania. But it’s also this time of the year for mute celebrations.
Social distancing regulations won’t see human pyramids but is that unprecedented? No, because in 2009 Mumbai experienced low celebrations too, due to swine flu as some of these images indicate.
Covid-19 may prevent revelers from climbing to the very top and while that is a sad occurrence, let that make us more determined to get on top of this pandemic.
