You should keep the Combine Dagger. Its a perfectly good combine that'll suit your needs for a while. And please turn weeds off. they are a nuisance.

Oxygen David maps are stunning, i love the worker cleaning the store in the background and the texture of the roads in places. Ultra real ! Combo of lets play and this map...great :) thanks Daggerwin.
Giants have messed up majorly with oxygen David. He had given us so much and I feel had a huge part in there success. He released the first mod for consoles. We need to group up and fight back some how this is wrong
What happened? Been trying to find an answer in the comments.

Daggerwin: Get the update for Courseplay from Github as you're using quite an old version, get the JCB Agripro 542-70 and the JCB implement pack by Nathan_6930 on his FB page, get the Precision farming update and the addon (both on Modhub), maybe switch the combine with the CLAS Tucano as you haven't used it since Geisesberg I think or even before that the Glance mod in 19 is known as Vehicle inspector and it's on Modhoster, works great. All in all, love the lorry and the way you're going about the series. Can't wait for the interactive part to begin and well, let's see how it goes.
'Tis just a suggestion, It's just I've noticed these things and wanted to point out, especially the Courseplay and Precision farming update.
This is already a great series! A let’s play seems more fitting for a weekday, I think. Have you considered switching vintage survival with this? I think vintage survival is more fitting on a Saturday, somehow.
A lot of love for this series, good choice mate. also you may know this but if you use lands on harvesting in course play the auger will always stick out.
Man, I stumbled on your channel by accident and it turned out to be the best mistake of my life! Just finished the vintage survival series to date so figured I’d start the chellington farm series. Really love your videos, never thought it would be so entertaining to watch someone play FS, keep up the great work and thanks for sharing with us!

I am playing on this map too with maize plus, seasons and a lot of other mods, the animals need a greater varieties of feed, like water and 2 and it gets more complicated as you go up the “food chain” and some animals come with some new bonuses too, but I will leave that to discover for yourself, but only install maize plus for an extra challenge, keep up the good work Daggerwin !!
Oxygen David does such a good job and I also love the intercity 125 and the flying Scotsmen aswell
Glad to see you play this, thought you might skip it due to the drama with Giants with this. I've played it for a while now, got it while it still where available on Modhub and I got two farms going, a small animal one, Valley view, and a big root crop and silage farm, one at the bottom of the map
Oxy have done great job with this map, although I have removed a few gates that bugged me and a few hedges and walls here and there. Will be interesting to see what you make of it

Always loved this map in FS17, console, and was my best save file. I don’t really know what’s going on with him, but i wish him the best of luck!
i used to drive a iveco turbo star 190-36 all over europa in my young years. nice to see these trucks showing up in-game. brings back memory's.
Damn that cab view of the semi really giving me some European Truck Simulator 2 vibes.

Most likely without seasons daggerwin can grow crops faster as you dont have 4 seasons to deal with

It will be a huge shame if this never comes to console because it potentially looks the best map ever made, I would like to add my admiration to Oxygen David, a very talented individual.
Hello Daggerwin. I’ve been running maize plus for a year. The animals don’t just take the richest food now. Each animal feed bar gives an equal amount of productivity. The sheep, chickens and horses all give manure and each animal feed is changed.
TMR is not really necessary anymore with maize running. But you can still make it with a new recipe which the loading wagons default to. Which includes optional parts. The Alien Paul, I’m sure would love the opportunity to talk with you about it.
I should also add that if you do use TMR it only fills 3 of your 4 feed bars.
This looks like the series for me!! All Daggerwins videos are well made but vintage stuff doesn’t really do it for me. Brilliant stuff!!
Daggerwin, regarding weeding, you can only remove weeds using a weeder during the first two growth stages ( they normally start appearing just after the crop shoots have come through). It isn't always at the beginning of the second growth stage usually midway through.

But in all honesty I turn Weeds off now too they're just a nuisance and I don't really enjoy weeding with the tiny weeders.
Keep the pick-up for a while and buy a decent trailer to fetch supplies from the store, where they of course must have a forklift to load up. After that you can have another smaller type commercial road vehicle like a service truck.
Tbh I feel like the merlo would be good in this series. Can’t wait to see more episode in this series.

I'm on my third in game year with the map now, second with Precision Farming. I didn't want to activate it 'til they fixed contracts, which they seem to have done. First I would recommend you soil sample all your fields before sending the worker in to do any drilling., then lay down lime.
As you're not using Seasons you're going to be missing out on some nice features of the map, but that's up to you. I think it adds massively to the experience, immersion and realism and never play without it nowadays.
I believe you need to enable the MaizePlus addon to see any features of that. The map's MaizePlus ready, I don't *think* the features themselves are baked in.
Addon Straw Harvest is currently broken, I noticed you have that installed. Until they fix it the palleting hall will first become a ghostly shell on your next save game load, and disappear altogether on the next. Creative Mesh are looking into this. You can make pellets, but you can't make as much from them as you might otherwise.
There's a harvester (and headers) for Onions and Carrots built into the map by the way, they're under Sugarbeet Technology.
"Look there's a steam train". I immediately get the Thomas the Tank Engine theme in my head.

Hi daggerwin Theres the Class Senser Mod that came out that also dose the same as the scout and you wont need to worry about prices of selling soil samples as it dose it live time keep up the good work
This was the one map I was looking forward to,it's a shame that OxygenDavid and Giants had a fallen out,sure hope they are able to come to an agreement,so we have the honor to play this map on console,if not guess I'll have to continue to play it on fs17

Hi Daggerwin, that Iveco truck that you like is a mod on ets2 also. Just look up Iveco Turbostar Ets2 or something like that on TH-cam . I have it in my game and it’s a nicely done mod 👍

For Soil sampling, use the Claas Crop Sensor. A lot better, because you just drive instead of stopping etc.
Daggerwin, you should keep some of the straw bales for when you get cows. Plus could yet get a John Deere tractor (any model/mod)

Having seen a couple of your videos on this map, I thought I’d give it a go too. I personally started on the Lockdown Farm area, rather than Chellington Farm, and so far it’s been great. (I only have a slight issue with the bunker silo there😅)
I also started with lockdown farm. My only worry is expanding in future, cant sell/hide the buildings without causing issues with the map. Still a nice place to start though.

Use pro seeds mod. Whit that you can create tram lines. Then you can switch crop destruction off. Also. It would be nice to see some claas machinery again.

Another series? Feel like there’s far too much going on on this channel currently it was much better quality when there was 2/3 let’s plays during the week and survival role play at the weekend. Can’t see SR coming back stronger when there’s constantly new things coming out, it’s just my opinion that’s all. And I do appreciate the work that goes into these but maybe just focus on a few at a time get the story/let’s play quality amazing instead of sacrificing that for quantity of let’s plays
