I finally figured out where the mods are. lol. I clicked "more" on the description. Went to the Mod-Network link. Searched on Farmall to find the Farmall Regular mod and searched on Old to find the Old Implement Pack mod (it includes the trailed harvester).
PattonM47 created both mods. I really like the 1920s steel wheel era tractor and the implements that will work with it. Looking forward to part 2 of the Old Implement Pack from PattonM47.
Would be very cool if PattonM47 could get his packs to console. Farmall's and IH's are already on modhub so he could get antique farming very far by sending them in for console as well! 😀
do you know how to add them to the farming 22 game they dont show up in my downloaded mods on the game
@@andrewhill5677 Its still probably PC only at this point. You need to download them from certain websites, probably linked in de vid description. If you dont play on PC I am affraid you cant add them. Thats why I commented about sending them in for addidtion to the modhub/consoles.
I always use the oldest equipment. It's fun getting into the role play aspect of a much older generation even if it makes the job a fair bit harder. Seeing old boys run just feels different in comparison to the new tech
The Farmall looks to be a pre 1936 but after 1930 F-20 or F-30. In 1936 International Harvester switched to the Familiar color for the Farmalls from the old battleship grey color. Since yours is battle ship grey that dates the tractor 1930-1935. It isn’t a Farmall regular because the exhaust would’ve exited out the side on the bottom of the engine. They switched to the top exit exhaust when the F-20 came out which replaced the Regular. They were a noisy loud tractor no muffler lol. Mufflers didn’t come out til 1939 with the introduction of the Letter series Farmalls. The combine is a McCormic-Deering combine, probably a No. 2 combine pull type. They ran off of the stationary engine on the front to drive everything. All the tractor does is pull it lol. It is ancient technology compared to modern stuff but it worked. And it sure beat doing it by hand lol. Back then they would drive the grain truck along side the combine much like they do nowadays, so you didn’t have to stop to unload the combine. That sped things up quite a bit. The only time the tractor stopped was to refuel. No fuel gauge so, they would figure out how long the tractor ran on a tank, just use that time to gauge the fuel. Back then the tractors ran on distillate which was a lower grade cheaper fuel, the small tank on the back of the main big fuel tank is called the starting tank, and it had gasoline in it. You started the tractor on gas, and then let it warm up, and then switched over to distillate after it warmed up. Some parts of the country, they also ran these tractors on kerosene, as it was also cheap, but it was the same starting procedure. Distillate was such a poor grade of fuel, it wouldn’t burn in a cold engine, so that’s why you couldn’t start on it. If the tractor was still warm enough when restarting you could start on it though. They were all hand crank start too no such thing as electric start till around the late 30’s.
Speaking of old equipment.
I would love to find a 7721 Titan 2 pull type combine, pair it with a 4640 (with turbo) and run it on FS. But I would obviously need a swather mod as well.

What's incredible about these old tractors is that I'm certain they would still run today, if maintained properly.
I have an all original farmall h that runs like a dream...my grandpa has an all original f20 that still runs pretty good

So random and unexpected, and i probably shouldn't have laughed on principle
Someone should make a case steam traction engine mod. And If any of you do want to do that I have audio from my own case steam traction engine that I found and restored. No one wanted it anymore so I cleaned the rust up, built the parts, and put on a fresh coat of paint. When it was completed I put coal in it's firebox and put water in the boiler. i poured lighter fluid on a piece of old cloth then I threw it in the firebox and lit it on fire. About half an hour later the steam pressure started to rise then I opened the regulator and the steam engine on top of the boiler started to move. Then I engaged the drive gear and the old steam traction engine started it's first run since the 1850s through 1930s
You ought to replace that silo with some AGI flat-bottoms or something smaller, and use the vintage auger pack with it.

what mods are the antique equipment
My grandfather had a combine like that one that he pulled with a steel wheeled tractor in the early 1940s farming in Arkansas. It was made of galvanized steel skin with metal interior parts and it did make a huge dust storm with harvesting. I dug it out of a briar patch and hauled it off for scrap in my early teens to help pay for a used truck.

Agree. Console is lacking in classic and antique mods. Tractor's and wagon's and machinery in general are lacking.
I know this is ancient history by now but that old Farmall just needs a new transmission to give her a little pep in her step and she'll run for another 100 years lmao

I love the old stuff to sit in my garage looking pretty lol. I much prefer 500hp tractors and 40 row planters. Just takes time and a lot of bank loans to make happen. Building up a bug farm without money cheats

Ironically, diesel and petrol tractors did not surpass Steam traction engines until the late 1940s in terms of power and weight.
Only downside to the steam engine is the fact that it is terribly expensive to maintain and absolute sucks in hilly areas.

The little Kubota would be mid 80s, so the newest thing on that property. It looks like it could be a B7100 or similar and the sounds unfortunately are waaaaay off, but such is simulator mods

It’s basically just acting. He uses a mod to make the equipment all dirty and then make it look all old and stuff.

Awesome video! I always wished they'd do like an option on Farming Sim where you can use old stuff to work smaller farms. Or even a "generation" mode where equipment is categorized by era. I always tend to prefer older style equipment and tractors, as much as possible without mods. My current tractors (all vanilla) are the Fend Favorit, Burher, and John Deere 4755. The new stuff is cool, I just prefer the older stuff.
Irl I rarely see any new brand of farming equipment or tractors (Mainly tractors) I see a lot of old John Deere’s and Internationals in my area getting out to work in the fields. I recall seeing a few New Hollands in my area when they opened a dealership not to far away. That’s the closest thing I’ve seen to new equipment in my area. That was about a year or two ago.
