SeaWorld Orlando Penguin Trek Roller Coaster Construction Update 5.28.24 TESTING RESUMES!

- Penguin Trek is back in action at SeaWorld Orlando after an almost month-long absence of testing, and it sounds much quieter than before! The ride is running at a great pace throughout the course currently and work is wrapping up on the ice formations at the end of the first launch tunnel. Hopefully, we will see two train testing begin soon and more frequent cycle intervals.

Safe bet that this ride will be open towards the end of June? Technically that would already be in the summer. I did notice that SeaWorld Orlando website dropped the "Coming in Spring 2024" tagline for Penguin Trek to just "Coming in 2024." I might be going to SeaWorld towards the end of this month and hope it's open by then.

I think by the time they finished testing and the inside project, it should open June, which is next month.

So the land is exactly the same minus the ugly Glacial Supply which is going to be used as a method of crowd control for a queue dump.
Glacial Supply looks awful to me. It’s just SeaWorld workwalls with a yellow sign on it! Lame! Why not throw in some theming on it, like penguin murals and snow/ice theming on it?
I think the theme is SUPPOSED to be like an antarctic research base, but yeah it looks like a goofy ass cargo crate
@@jcj0506 The reason it does not work is because it technically sits outside the land... If they had built it more inside the land it would've probably worked fine, but this random cargo container looking building is just goofy walking up to it from the rest of the park.
@@cup_and_cone i feel like they could have MAYBE worked if they made it look... snowy. Like the AC seating building has on it. Also probably should've painted it red bc everything other building in the land is red.
10 years ago it would have looked great, but modern seaworld cannot do theming very well
great to see testing resuming ... We are hoping to come over from the uk for new year... what is the weather like at that time?? we normally come over in September so hot and humid. never done Dec/jan before..

Wow! This coaster just crawls through the circuit. Barely looks like it breaks 25 mph. Understand that it's a family coaster but disappointed as to how slow it appears.
