Hi! One cuestión, I have a 94 f150 with the aode and I notice than it dosent have a snap ring and plate like you say in the 2 to 3 acumulator but it has the 3 tap retainer and the aluminum pistom, is that right ? Also the 1 to 2 it has the aluminum pistom and cover. Can I replace the aluminum pistoms for those you use or do I have to install the aluminum ones.

On the reverse servo stem, do the rings on the stem matter, if mine has three rings and I get one servo with two rings, will it matter?

You mentioned that the all thread rod was not in the center of the 7 inch tool. You did not mention what the dimension of the offset was and that in your tool the hole was not centered in the short dimension either. Is this necessary? It would be better if you showed the last 1/4" in the drawing as you would not know what end to measure the 4-1/4" dimension from. Thanks for the video.

Ya what are the dimension on the offset and the measure of the 4 1/2 inch hole?

Thank you for the video. I'm wondering if you could help to answer a question for me. I am rebuilding an AOD transmission. I think it may be from a 1993 Ford truck. The issue is with the 2-3 accumulator. I lost the original one, and then purchased one for a 4R70W/4R75W thinking it was an upgrade and interchangeable. It appears to be too large. I found some folks who had accumulators for an AOD and they are also too large. The pistons that I keep finding are 1.22", but the accumulator bore in my transmission is about 7/8". I have tried numerous places to try to find an answer, but so far no solution. I wonder if someone put in a sleeve, but if so, I don't know what. I tried TranStar, WIT, various local transmission shops, Ford, etc. Have you seen this before and do you have any idea how I can resolve this issue. Thank you in advance for any insight. Also, from the picture on your video, the accumulator bore appears to be bigger than the bore in my transmission.

    I have a 2000 ford expedition 4.6L V8 Triton XLT 4R70W transmission.
I need to know where can I just buy the roll pin and the selector shaft seal because I only need to replace the EPC Solenoid?
I've been looking everywhere but I only see them in a complete transmission set.
    I'm sure I'll never get a response. I don't see anyone getting a response in the comments.🤔

Hey Jim great video and instructions as usual. I’m in the process of rebuilding my 4R75E. If I’m doing a remanufactured rebuild do I buy all internal parts? And if so do you sell all the parts on your website? Coming out of a 2011 E150 5.4L. Thx

I replaced by snap ring on 4th gear overdrive piston put everything back together and now it will not engage in reverse or drive now. Not sure where I went wrong any advice on this issue would be very much appreciated. Thanks

Im sure you either fixed it or figured it out but if you pulled down your overdrive servo and your reverse servo, you have to make sure you catch the anchors of the bands during installation or your overdrive and reverse won’tbe able to engage without catching those anchors

    • @dannydonovan9348

You will probably need to replace the diaphram on the overdrive servo as the seal is probably leaking by & not engaging properly

Hello.... Is it possible to replace the Case Connector without dropping the valve body? if not.... any tips or tricks in getting this does without taking down the valve body completely?

@flowersfam3462 I dropped it down a bit, not fully. I had a helper that held it in place while I replaced the connector and as soon as it was in place I raised it back up. Transmission runs great till today.
