Love this truck, but the only thing keeping one out of my driveway is the lack of rear AC vents. living in Arizona (all or most of the interior being black depending on options) makes rear AC mandatory for rear seat passengers.
Yup, they got that in the Australian market.. Also would like to see a split rear bench. Flat floor under the seats similar to the F150. Can always add storage solutions if needed.
All these TH-cam automotive "journalists" need to keep their day jobs and get off TH-cam. Quit giving these auto manufacturers advertising. They don't deserve the business with their overinflated pricing.
There is no way you will ever convince me that a "boosted" 2.7L 4banger is going to out last an "un-boosted" V8. Every V8 pickup that I have owned has lasted 350,000 miles +. It's like taking a 100 lb man, shooting him up with a bunch of "speed" and other drugs to get him to do the work of a 250lb man. Yes, he can do it for a while, but eventually his heart is going to explode.
Notice how the Frontier used to be the value leader and now that all the small trucks are boosted, the Frontier is now commanding higher prices as the last naturally aspirated mid size?
Nice truck and I get it with the same engine. This Ranger is really nicely improved.
Great review thx. this might just be my next vehicle
Brian, thanks for the detailed review as always!!

Honda Ridgeline has them
thanks for the review … I have been waiting for this one
Can't get heated mirrors in the xlt either. Power folding mirrors but not heated.
That’s crazy
Yeah I need heated mirrors living in northeast
The Lariat model with the 2.7 V6 is a whopping 55K! Yikes 😳
@@Combat556 yeah, midsize trucks aren’t cheap. A loaded Tacoma now is $$$
@ and dealers are adding big markups on Ranger Raptors; looked at one yesterday and the markup was 12K, making the purchase price 66K.

@@TexasScout No one ever said this is better then a V8.
@@EverydayReviews2022 Just saying, I would rather have a "normally aspirated" V6 than this.
@ ahhh. Gotcha. The 2.7 is a V6 btw. Many will prefer a boasted V6 over a boasted hybrid 4 at least.
You still trying to get over the loss of the V8 Dakota? Been a very long time since a V8 mid size was available.
Do some research on the 2.7L. It’s built like a diesel. Extremely reliable as well
Slower Than a Toyota Tacoma
It's garbage
why
The2.7L ecoboost engine is GARBAGE! This guy has NO automotive knowledge and he doesn't know what he's talking about.
@@pgb1913 Sounds good. Which one would you choose out of the 3?
I don't agree that it's garbage. It's definitely had it's issues but Garbage? There has to be a reason you feel that way?
