100% True Eri. I know these videos may only apply to a smaller audience of professionals in the industry but Sam's videos are pure gold. Guys like him and Kieth from New Level Auto that are in the field everyday working on late models in the shops with all sorts of cool drive-ability complaints and all the programmings that really give us the upper hand so when they roll in our bays we are ready.

Thanks Sam. I was going to order a replacement PCM for my 2004 Grand Marquis, but see that even without the keyed entry system, I would likely need to have a Ford dealer replace the main computer.
I have been turned down by two local Ford dealers, one who says that Ford no longer offers the PCM, so they won't work on the vehicle. They showed me a repair order for a 2007 Grand Marquis that they can't service, only 35k miles; won't crank. Weird when Ford can't fix their own vehicles. Another local Ford dealer told me "we usually don't work on anything with over 135k miles.

I tried installing a central electrical module on a focus S-max. FJDS prompted me “install new module,” I unplugged the old CEM and installed the one I wanted to install. Now the entire high speed CAN network is down. I’m extremely stressed. The instrument cluster has a code saying CAN bus off. If anyone has any ideas I will be very grateful. I would have to buy FJDS software again to do any more programming

Hello Sam, How do I program a used BCM for a Ford Edge 2012 model? This vehicle is one with a push to start system. I have ids to complete this task.
I have not had a lot of luck doing USED BCM on fords.
Should the PCI procedure work to program a blank dpc202? I know they are a bit old. Tried to do that and mine would get two bars on downloading when programming and go no further. Is it possible to take the program from and existing pcm and transfer it to a blank (as a spare) using fjds? Thanks!

Hey man... What's up with the FEPS open circuit/ Ignition switch position 0, while I'm bench Programing??? I had 12 voltage and then I've switched to using 18 + volts on the bench. 05 Ford PCM won't allow me to program it...What the hell man... How can I rid myself of this problem??? Anybody???
18 volts is too high

I have several videos on reprogram. this process would work yes. way more involved than a reprogram needs to be.

Hi so I bought a used pcm online for my 99 f150 and the old is stored how do I program my old keys to that module
The old what is stored? What tools do you have? An erase and program should do what you need. You will need 2 keys for it to work properly.
Sorry the old vin from the one I bought it from I have my original keys I did paremeter reset followed all the procedure and still theft light I'm using a launch xv31pro v

2002 ford f150. Pats wont read the key. Need to replace pats module. Do I need to program the replacement module or is it turn key ready?
@@toolhutusaakathecarflasher3019 we have 2 chipped keys. The truck cranks but wont turn over. Theft light rapidly flashes for around 60 seconds then does a sequence of slow flashes indicating what I believe is code 12. It does one slow blink then pause then 2 slow blinks then long pause and keeps repeating same pattern. So we think it's the pats module. Any advice?

i appreciate your video and effort, but i do this for a living also, and didn’t get a ton out of it. someone who isnt familiar with ids or fd(j)rs couldn’t have possibly understood what you just did. if you’re not doing the video to really detail the procedure then i’m not really getting why you made it at all. just my opinion. peace.
