Yup, we the leaders in industry should have done their research to understand this better...That said, I also the runners may not have been prepared in time for the World Relays as well.
Atlethe’s weren’t available? What kind of national program are we running, in my opinion Jamaica is heading down hill in track field, poor management, we should be heading far ahead than some other nations. Why we get light before a lot of countries but still in darkness 😢😢😢 The federation needs to shake up!
Athletes' availability has nothing to do with the federation but the coaches. It's no secret that most, if not all, Jamaican coaches don't prioritize relay. The issues that the JAAA should work on is: 1. Disseminating the correct info in a timely manner 2. Having a better selection process that's clearly communicated to the coaches 3. Be strict & impartial with their selection. In the US 100m relay, it's not about the fastest time *alone* but who can get the baton around efficiently.
@@nikelnicole In essence your giving suggestions to improve the JAAA, I said exactly what you itemizing , I just used one word poor management, which in fact I wasn’t blaming anyone, I said poor management! Next time you should not only learn to read and write but also to comprehend!
Trust me, its probable for the best, its just not our year to even get a medal in that 4x400m relay base on how few countries are gearing up this year i can't even see Jamaica getting fifth place in the final. just my opinion base on what i've seen with other countries this year.
This was a lot of information, I truly learned a lot. Tbere are a lot of comments aimed at the Jamaican process and they are probably necessary, however much of it does not appear to be knowledge based.
I honestly do no give a flying EF about the mixed. EF the mixed. They picked the wrong team for the second round at WRC. R Clarke should have been on the M4x400 not the EFFING mixed
The problem is we don’t know what time of day it is!! We are not hungry enough!! We have the BEST but we take things for granted. Even the ants (the insect)know how to make hay while the sun shines. Let’s hope we use this has ANOTHER learning process
Don't worry jamaicand. You're just in a slump for now. You'll be back to the top soon. The women are still there for now but I don't see anyone stepping up to replace the big 3
Do Managers and Coaches have fiduciary responsibility to their athletes to provide them with the best informed advice allowing them the proper exposure that showcases their talent , and maximizes their earning potential, or is that not how it works?
Thanks yiu fir sharing these valuable information and Big congrats 🎉to all the collagen athletes that take part in the relay they did very well👍 and also to james king .

Great effort by the young men. The problem started with selections for the world relays. 🇯🇲must take this event seriously in the future.
A time for reflection for All Stakeholders

Exactly, every other country knew it was Olympic qualifier except Jamaica. Smh 🤦🏽♀️

I'm so sorry to hear that, I was looking forward to see Jamaica.
I watched the Race great effort from the athletes 👍🏾🇯🇲🇯🇲

The information is that Clarke was not available for that round. He was only available for one event.
Agree. They should have had Roshawn in the Men's 4x400m relay not the mixed at World Relays

Just continue to pray and support them. We don't know what the outcome maybe.

We would like to think so. Much of that depends on the professionalism of the coach. Not every thing can be solved with contracts.

repechage rounds is rubbish
Let's see how it plays out. World Athletics has no reservation is shelving experiments that don't work.
Excellent breakdown!
Much appreciated!
Damage control?
Doubt that. It's more of a sequel in a movie.
Great information
Glad it was helpful!
It's not too late.
No it's not.
Volume low
Thanks for the feedback. Will see what can be done.
Volume was good over here
They won’t give it any attention because the mixed relays comes before the 400 meter
We do hope you are wrong, for all our sakes.
Antonio Watson has no medal to get in the 400m...may not even make the final based on what is happening
Tell us what is happening?
