The detail on the left side of his backpack is a launching grappling hook with the hooks folded. That's why it's connected to the spool of line on the bottom of the pack. It's a little better detailed on the vintage backpack. I believe it's a nod to the launched grappling hooks used by the Rangers during the D-Day Invasion at Point Du Hoc.
I got my Beach Head figure a few days ago, and I love it. My only complaint is with those hands that "buck" uses, but luckily Valaverse hands fit it just fine.

I don't think its an umbrella. I think its a rocket for a soviet RPG.😂😂 The OG backpack I always thought it was a collapsable grappling hook head. What they both could be is a collapsable comms dish for satellite communications and its the comms wire underneath the pack,

I would like to see the correct classic accessories as the base level for the retros and the extras as the enhancement accessories. Package the extras under the figure (when possible) with only the classic loadout showing.
That’s a nice idea too of how they could do it.
those bloody shin guards are why I ordered the new figure. Why oh why weren't they removable on the og classified figure?

Hey Punk, did you find issues with the legs where they pop into body? Mine dont go deep enough and the leg is loose and comes off.

I wanna put the new kriss (without the sliencer) or an mp5 from valaverse on him. I got that same sub gun from the set but honestly whos using a 60s era sub gun in 2024 on the NATO side? I like putting modern guns on my figures and Im sure Ive got some very nice vala sub guns to put on him. if the hands arent too small. Is it me or do the recent release classified figures seem to have smaller hands?
im also derginately putting a valaverse light combat helmet on him. 😂😂
They’re stuck between nostalgic and modern and also have to work with in a corporate structure. As for the Vala weapons, the more I buy other companies weapons the more faults I find with many of theirs. Some still look great tho
Took me awhile but eye'm hip to hasbros game now. Only purchasing retro card classified from now on because eye KNOW they are eventually coming. This Beach Head is FIRE by the way. Have given my CI Beach Head to my cousin.
I don’t think there’s a game here, but their plans certainly have changed since the line started.
The patch is the 75th Infantry Division of the US Army Reserve. My guess is there was a mistake with the original Beachhead at it should've been the 75th Ranger Regiment patch. Not surprising that the mistake was made and most will not notice, so it's fine.

This figure is so damn good. I thought his crunch would be impacted by the vest and belt, but it's very minimal. Dead ringer for OG Beachhead as well.

You’re welcome, the trigger finger thing is annoying
the first scarlets should have come with that handcrossbow and pack. Its better then the crossbow that came with ANY version of scarlet.
People would have found a complaint about that too

I prefer the Cobra Island Beachhead for the removable beret. I know he wouldn't go into battle wearing it, but I just think it is cool.

@@Apunkwithtoys I bought the Cobra Island version. I do like it a lot but I will say that the retro version's shade of green is better looking.
His satchel is a demo pack, but I cannot for the life of me find it's real life inspiration, never seen one quite like this one.
Good call on the Mark 2 Toys Demro XF-7 wasp. Such a weird weapon choice though, and as far as I can tell, this was the ONLY weapons system Demro ever produced.
