That is a lot of great info. We live in Florida and tube regularly so we invested in good tubes. If you do bring your own tube, purchase a nice pump to be able to pump it up in the parking lot. Also, if you rent a Kayak, check the bottom for cracks/leaks. We had to help a couple that rented one that took on so much water internally, they had to sink it on the shore. They workers will drag the kayaks up and down the launch area and that eventually will wear a hole. One more thing, if you rent a Kayak, you park your car at the South entrance, check in, and they give you a wrist band that is included with your kayak rental. They bus you to the head spring and you kayak to the south take out. You get to use your wrist band to get on the tram to get back to your car. If you brought your tube and kept it in your car, you can inflate it and the use the wrist band to utilize the tram and get more bang for your buck!

I remember my first time going to ichetucknee springs with our church youth back then you had to chop your way through with machetee and you could put your drinks and food in cooler and float it behind you to the halfway point where you could eat lunch. all the litter bugs messed all that up though. there was no fee at all now its all messed up...

I really like that lock. Just used it at Ginnie this past weekend. I really need to take the Jeep off roading but I haven’t yet. It’s definitely on my list tho.

Are there shallow enough areas to get back in your tube? 2. You mentioned to keep your receipt - Would it be for after you're done tubing (while parked at South) and you wanted to go to the North and swim at the head? Did you drive your car from South to North entrance? What if park (North) is at capacity, (you have receipt from south) will they let you in? Thanks
Hi! Good questions thank you! The water is not incredibly deep, but not quite shallow enough to stand up and get back on the tube. I usually just sort of pull myself back up on the tube. Probably not the most graceful move ever, but not that hard to do 😅 Yes the receipt will allow you to move from parking lot to parking lot. As long as u paid to get in once that day, capacity hasn’t mattered previously. I don’t believe that’s something that’s changed. I hope that helps! Ich is one of my all time favs! Have a blast 🙌

Ideally, I would love to go down the river and take the tram back to the top about 3 times, but I don't know if that's allowed/monitored.
I went to the dealer and had a blank vehicle key made that will only unlock the door and put it behind the tag with the tag bolt. Will set off the alarm but the other key is left where i can get to it to turn it off
