Great fight as always! Here's an interesting tidbit: The Maker's Cult is the reason why OPR had the Feudal Guard army (until 3.0). It was effectively a prototype of the Creator Armies (official Army Rules for other Model creators). Unfortunately, they weren't interested in keeping up with the army, so the Feudal Guard were never inducted into the Creator Armies. Menacing has been keeping the army alive in the Community Armies, though.
im changing it up to where the learn to plays is more clinical and showing how the dice roll and explaining whats going on. But the videos i put out in the middle of the week will be where I can go nuts with effects and narrative without any limits and trying to stick to any explanations
@@WarbossFitz THats aweosme I really love the effects you put in your videos and I am a huge fan of narratives. This video gives a strong "behind the scenes" vibe to it.I appreciate all the extra work this probably caused .
@@WarbossFitz I appreciate both aspects. It is good to see the dice as a learning player, but it can be less entertaining. I think your plan sounds good. Thanks!
Yes! Lets go machines. Great battle thanks. I like both styles. But when you explain better i can enjoy the video without actually watching so i definitely enjoy that especially since i know the game pretty well so i can follow easily in my minds eye. Most of the time im listening to you when im working so i cant watch.
51:00 Give this guy a raise. He may not have done much but he stayed until the end of his shift. Nice video Fitz. Thanks for sharing and God bless you and your little menz.
I really enjoyed getting to hear your thoughts process but miss the cool sound and visaul effects. Hopefully they will reappear :D Something that I think would be helpful would be removing the defeated models before rolling the morale check so we can easily see if the unit is going to be pinned or routed in case we miss how many were wounded. As always I appreciate your videos :)
the how to plays will be a bit more "gamey" just to show how the rules and dice rolling works. Taking away the dead models before the morale test is a great Idea thanks for that. As far as the fun sound and animations... wait until tomorrow.
So I have a love of station forges models. The transport is a 6 legged landing craft, and the infantry fits soo well for what they are. High priests have many options for models also.
While I appreciate not using GW models, I wish OPR machine cult covered the 30k Mechanicum type units in addition to the 40k ones. Kind of like how Dwarf Guilds covers both Votann and Squats.
That's the beauty of the OPR system. The community can make those lists and verify that they are balanced. Here is an extension of the machine cult using equipment from the times of old army-forge.onepagerules.com/armyInfo?gameSystem=2&armyId=2XK3Sx1FC-M6imq8&book=Machine%20Cult%20Relics
Warboss, is there any chance you could make a How to play Custodian Brothers? I'm new to the game and wargaming in general, and i'm trying to build my first army and since i'm trying to print the least amount of minis (FDM printer and not a lot of free time), i've been trying to assemble a Custodian army but i'm at a loss.
Really appreciate your videos. It’s one of my primary OPR content fixes.
thanks I love making them too

I wondered why the feudal guard disappeared
I do miss the effects on this one, but this was also interesting to watch to show how the dice will be dice. Thank you for your hard work!

Didn't realize you were preparing a machine cult video. This was a welcome surprise this morning.
i have like 7 different armies that i am working on up in the air, even I don't know what the next army is going to be!

I really like the machine cult, it's my primary army :)
thanks for the video

I've been a huge fan of Makers Cult for years! Awesome that you featured them. I should really paint up their models that I have printed. :)

thank you for not using GW models
I try to avoid it as much as possible
Definitely appreciate the spotlight on other creators.
Love this one! Machine Cults are one of my favorite armies in OPR, I can't wait for the OPR official models one day :D

I'm thinking that an army of bead bot style minis would be a hoot for this faction.
