The entire time that yellow skin was being painted I was sitting here just going "Hey, Murray, this is MetalGreyMon. You've just made MetalGreyMo-" and then he said it and I have never felt so nostalgically validated in a single moment. The model looks amazing!

One thing I have seen a few other crafters and painters do to help make the eyes pop and look more realistic is by putting in a dab of UV Resin after they fully paint the eye. Might be something to try or bigger models like this one.
his style is so different to all the other mini painters but the results are always stunning. oh yeah and with that eye he was just showing off a bit much.

Really cool model, and the paint job looked even better after the credits, when it wasn't hidden behind 200+ instafilters...
I recommend scoring both surfaces before gluing for a much better bond. Especially with a larger model like this things have a tendency to snap off.

Magnificently done, the only critique I have is the glam shots at the end with this green light.. Why ? Because this is not representative of how the model actually looks. Or add the photoshopping part to the process.

I've been very tempted to take on this project too, my concern is: how many failed prints would I have? Maybe I'll just go for it.
I feel quite unsettled that the giant Dragon-Lizzard has his eyes on the side of the skull. This usually means he is prey not predator. So in this universe is still another predator, way, way larger than this beast!
There are no bigger predator than the mighty Dread Saurian.
Plus, you know that crocodile have their eyes on the side right?
Giant mega theropod like giganotosaurus also had their eye on the side of their head.

You know what I realised in this video? TTT needs more voice overs from Murray... brush brush brush brush brush stipple!
OPR are the GOATs. If you're into wargaming and aren't subbed to their patreon you're missing out on the single best $15 a month you could possibly spend. Cannot recommend them enough.
3:45 aaaaaannd this is why I paint in sub-assemblies! I personally would have kept this big fella in *at least* 3 pieces; temple, front half of body and back half. I've got a massive 100mm scale dark dragon mini that I've done so with and it's sooooo much easier to reach everything.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! Whenever I try to resin print something that is in parts like this I can never get a flush fit like this. I think the pieces might be shrinking slightly. Is it because of the settings or maybe the resin I'm using? IDK. 😅 Any advice would be much appreciated.
Am i the only one that thinks the lizzard looks a bit high ? those red-pink eyes at the base looks like he is really high and dazzed and a bit "Out of it" ^^ haha

Question: Do you ever do the Uhu glue saliva trick or do you think it's too corny? I would have been tempted since it's easy to pull off and repair if you don't like it so long as it's in an area without extensive wet blending.
