As a Meg main. I’m thankful for that sty nerf. I can’t outrun them, can’t out turn them, can’t out damage them. If a sty sees me in salt flats or somewhere with no water. I’m dead. It’s literally the only Dino I will not fight as a Meg. I guess we will see how it will be now

A well deserved Lambeo buff. Rodeo kick was worthless against multiple enemies like velocci said. Glad its better now. Also Amarg is a beast now and I love it.

As someone who loves Pycno, I am very frustrated with the change for Knockout. If the developers don't want us to use Knockout, give Pycno the Tail Attack back! This dinosaur cannot save itself from anything that gets behind it, and even then, pursuers will be able to avoid the attack since it's a baitable charged attack Everything else like Miragaia, Iggy, Lamb, Amargasaurus, and Barsboldia I'm happy with. Maybe not the changes to Sty because it's still OP

Yes yes yes! These tweaks are great, some of the most rational I've seen! Bars and Amarga definitely needed the help since they rely on their defenses more than their attacks, and I'm glad I can make the most out of Iggy's charge now!

They should give bars and rex a tlc soon, firstly bars has been promised a tlc at the beginning when all these tlcs started and secondly after the bonebreak changes rex can no longer hunt anything except apexes because rex can't bonebreak anything mid and low tiers they can just easily escape or fight rex and not worry about being bonebreak which makes fighting a rex so much easier cause there's no fear of being bonebroke so they should give rex its own bonebreak ability or ADD FRACTURE TO REXES DEFAULT BITE and they could also add a charge up bite that deals very high damage so if a rex is hunting a low tier it can just 1 shot it with charge bite. The devs need to make rex a hunter again because right now rex is anything but a hunter so hopefully they give it a bonebreak ability or fracture to its default bite and make it more of a AMBUSH HUNTER by giving stamina nerf and speed buff or maybe a ambush ability like PT rex , that would be perfect tlc for rex. Hopefully we get the bars and rex tlc soon but bars tlc needs to come first. Any thoughts?
This is an amazing updates to the dinosaurs and happy that the devs are noticing the smaller things that needed to be changed about the dinosaurs especially amarga it’s self and pycnos tail attack
@AKayani559 I know but they still have yet to give bars it’s tlc where there will likely be some higher damaging attacks. Bars right now is tankier than before but doesn’t do nearly as much damage. Don’t think that’s a fair trade. At least it got a ho recovery buff
I don’t get many of these changes like the nerfs especially for like styras and pycno and at this point just give pycno it’s normal tail attack back and sarco now being able to pick up styras
I get why styra is not as tanky anymore but I feel as is the speed should have stayed the same, it would not have effect the raptor players that much cause they could already keep up with them. That's only a minor thing tho the rest of the update is awesome and love my main finally getting some love( its amarga btw)
See the speed was allowing it to keep up and catchup to smaller creatures (like Meg) although I’m unsure how it’ll properly be able to defend itself against bigger dinosaurs that can keep up like dasp
honestly it was too fast there was nothing that any solo player of any dino in the game could do vs it, all raptors just get run down, pycs get run down because they need to run around the thing to kill it and sty out turns them, meg could not out run it or dmg it, conc could not dmg or out run it, and anything below that has a slower speed so sty could just bully it or run away. it was easy the most broken mid tier in the game and I know I play sty sty is what I play when I want to turn my brain off because if it can keep up with me I can face tank it and everything else you can outrun or just do hit and runs.
@nigelthornberry7513 You're dead on the money. I was confused why I kept dying to stys, and looked at the stats. Only 5 land dinos could reasonably be expected to evade it, and it could bully everything else. Oh and the 5 more evasive dinos have jokes for combat stats in comparison. Either the rest of the cast needed damage buffs like Dasp to kill it, or Sty needed a mobility nerf. It still has a great stam depletion rate and superior hitboxes.
So glad about the Pycno's charge tail cooldown. It was beyond boring and annoying (and looked stupid) when Pycno starts a fight then just spams that then runs off rinse and repeat. Also glad of the Amarga and Bars buffs 😊
@Idk-sc1dbyea but now its almost impossible to 1v1 something ur size as a pycno without knockout. its turn is garbage and its attacks require you to face the enemy and take damage from them/yourself… and pycno has such low health that it cant trade hits like that. the only thing its good for is running away with its high stamina and speed

Hp doesn't mean much, because its based around Combat weight, which amarga doesn't have that much. Anyways they buff herbivores because lets be honest, in officials about 70% of players are carnivores
Sty has been oppressive for awhile, and this is a very tame nerf. It still has superior stam rates, damage, and hitboxes. This brings it in line with Dasp, which feels right.
Once they have released all non-apex tlc then they will release apexes. The reason is that tlc make stuff stronger most of the time and they don't want even stronger apexes before other playables can adjust to them.

It's a needed rebalancing of Styraco IMO. Styraco post turn buffs was already insanely strong since it can dodge and turn so well. Then the stamina buff it got made it have Megalania stamina while being tankier and harder hitting with bleed to boot. This lets it keep its stamina and turn at the cost of doing somewhat less damage and worse sprinting speed. Which let's be honest here, 1050 speed isn't bad xD
