Ah, this young lady is the same cellis from the Romeo & Juliet tune I just played. Dvorak's concerto is an excellent composition. Her playing of course is excellent. Only gripe? The recorded sound is a bit short compared to the Romeo & Juliet tune. Of course, that's a simple work (arranged well). I meant, the acoustic engineering is a little less. The recording hall perhaps is different. Then, may be the recording engineer was different, or that the post-taping processing was different.

Ahh...the memories. Saw Janos Starker and the Tallahassee Symphony perform this at a memorial concert honoring composer and TSO founder Nicholas Harsanyi. RIP Nicky!

A superb performance of the greatest of all cello concertos (Brahms said, "Why did no one tell me it was possible to write a cello concerto like this?"). I also like that way Cho maintains eye contact with the conductor whenever there are tempo adjustments. The orchestra sounds good too despite its small size. And compliments to the videographer for pulling back during the cello-violin duet in the final movement, so we can see both performers.
클래식 연주중에 철로협연 연주하는 조회수가 그리 많지 안은데 선생님의 연주는 조회수가 왜 많을까 생각해보니 이유가 있네요. 정말 생동감있고 살아있는 연주입니다. 풍성하게 잘 들고 있습니다. 더불어 선생님의 아름다움이 더하니 몰입하게 됩니다 음 하나 하나가 흐트럼없이 맑고 명확 하니 귀가 호강합니다. 감사합니다
