Hey great video, thanks, I have an R56 2009 S cooper, does this model have AC compressor control valve? I have an intermittent AC cooling cycles, I heard that this control valve goes bad, you may have that problem. and may be where is that valve located in the car, thanks for the help.
Do you know if you can replace just the A/C clutch? mine blows cold air fine, but when you turn on the a/c, it makes some groaning noises and has a low pitched whine at higher rpms.
You might have entertain yourself, but this was a waste of time for me! How are we supposed to learn how to do this if you don’t show anything? Shaking my damn head!

Mine does that too! Have you resolved that noise? Mechanic says replace all parts! Compressor, etc.
think mine has gone. Engine sounds terrible, i see “Sparks” flying off the AC compressor where belt goes, and a lot of smoke. 😮 any ideas please?
