@@Abonimablesnowman my original comment is a bit outdated as not much info was available back then, look at the autel compatibility page, though no sure if it's 100% accurate as they are missing a bit of stuff, especially Lexus, Toyota, Smart, and Porsche
Got the KM100 in aug 2024. Has a few minor improvements such as keyless entry and button remapping of their universal keys. No cloning of theirs or any smart universal keys which is a bit lacking in comparison to Xhorse, otherwise your list above is still valid.
Looks cool. Xhorse universal are sooo much cheaper and look better. I'm sticking with Xhorse for the universal stuff. The KM100 has been super as a programmer though!
Yearly fees? Will the VCI link up with the IM508 or any other Autel tools? Will the XT27 chips work with this? Some one has already asked about the Xhorse remotes. Do the universal remotes have a space for an emergency key? Flip key? What kind of warrantee can we give our customers? Will it also program OEM keys? Hyundai & Kia? Is the KM100 just being teased, or is it READY, Are the universal keys going to be a problem to get? How many button configurations will be available? Thanks. Stuart
Stuart, great questions. I am still testing some of the questions listed here so more info will be available soon. The units are en route and should be in within the next work week. all the universal smart keys have either a blank or space for one to be installed. the button configs and styles do vary quite a bit, I believe a flip Key is and will be available though their selection is pretty expansive. It shows Kia and Hyundai for both Generation and IMMO menus, but I have not yet tried these vehicles. for warranty Info please contact our Customer Service team for further Info regarding Autel Products. How about a comparison video between the KM100 and the key tool max. Both are priced about the same and would like to have a head to head between the two.
What's the difference from VVDI? Will autel wave year license fee for its other scanners? like VVDI does give you points that you can use towards let's say Benz keys pass calc without paying for year subscription
So if you only do 1000 benz a year and no other brand, isn't that more then a year subscription for autel 🤔 ... just curious how much tokens you need to add a key to benz with vvdi. And if it's worth if you only do benz.
@@jorgemat8080 only need 1 token for a Benz key copy, 2 for akl. You get tokens for generating VVDI remotes or super chips. Basically if you do let's say 100 a month which is low, it's going to be enough to do 1 Benz a week. If you do more Benz keys get subscription it's cheap

Lu, I just got mine today and first impressions are very good. Where due I bu the blades? I don't see them anywhere on your site. Also, all the proxs on your site are pre order only. Any ETA on these? Days, weeks, months? A universal smart key generator is kinda useless if you can't buy the smart keys, lol.
All of the remotes come with the security keys installed. I think the blades if needed to be Installed will likely be a universal type. Let me confirm specifics, but feel free to clarify what type of blade you are looking for.
Do you have to pay for additional models or do you get makes and model vehicle program all makes/models without having to pay additional fee for each additional vehicle makes/model. I have an alltel ap200 and one free model.... Any additional make and model vehicles I have to pay $15 per model so for four I have to pay $15 for Lexus I have to pay $15 for Toyota brand I have to pay $15 for Mercedes I have to pay $15 for Land Rover I have to pay $15....? I'm asking because I would like to buy one but I don't want to have to keep paying additional money after I purchase the device and my AP Maxi 200 doesn't do push start button vehicles. Only a vehicle is with key ignition. So I would like a universal key programmer where I just buy the device and it programs all makes and model without paying additional money after I purchase it?
@@kevinwitt8827 I actually just recently read that you can indeed generate super/universal chips like the XT27 on the KM100, but only once, then it will need to be reset on a xhorse key tool for additional generation/cloning use, seems legit.
Sadly I asked Autel and they said it can't do Xhorse. Autel universal keys are expensive (much more than Xhorse), don't look as good, and aren't available as widely as the XT27 and Xhorse stuff. Too bad.
Great question! Hopefully I can get you an answer real quick, or someone else will let you know their experience! I don't hear much regarding Bike Programming generally, or what machines are standard, but, I'd love to know more.
I believe the reality is adding an aftermarket Smart Key to Vehicles less than 3-Years-Old will void the 3/36 Warranty and, in most cases, with the current BUS Systems, Powertrain Warranty too
Honestly it's a bit strange that the fact it's aftermarket will be caught, as those actually remanufacture the OEM circuitry to be as close as possible on the aftermarket. What makes sense to me that can get caught is using aftermarket programming devices, as dealers will only(mostly) use OEM tools. If you really want to be safe, an advanced auto locksmith can bypass IMMO prog completely by modifying the key data on the car's eeprom chip directly with the new one, and that makes it untraceable, but it will cost substationally more to have done.
I apologize for the delayed reply; I worked at two different Manufacturer’s Dealerships, Chrysler and Nissan; one example is an after-service action where ReFlash and Programming are required. All issued Smart Keys must be present, and a customer presents one that is aftermarket; that service becomes a customer pay service, and the remaining warranty becomes void.
@@rjeromej8149 well obviously if you go to the dealer to get key programming done and give them an aftermarket key they won't be happy, but how would they know if you do it elsewhere, especially if the key/programming looks the same as OEM afterwards?
This 2022 Accord in the demonstration video most likely has less than 36,000 miles unless the individual is an Uber Driver; there are Recall and TSB-related services that require all Smart Keys to be available to complete the service correctly. I do get a lot of customer requests to install aftermarket components in Vehicles less than 5-Years Old, and I decline the services and refer them to the Dealership for Manufacturer Authorized Vendors referrals to perform their requests. My Service Vehicle is a 2020 Nissan NV2500; I would prefer a CarPlay Audio System for a better Navigation System, a Power Inverter, and a Remote Start; but I am prohibited from doing these upgrades because it will void the 10-Year/100K Warranty
