That will also work great short term in containers! I highly recommend just pine n peat moss for longevity for an ideal acidic condition for much longer as they will receive their nutrients though an organic medium such as Hollytone and a weekly liquid fertilization regime during summer.
@@narmislien I shredded my pine bark with a wood chipper/shredder down to a range of 1/4 and averaging at around 3/8 of an inch. I would make sure the pine bark you are using are at least half inch and smaller in sizes.
@@onebicycle3772 Could be drought stress. Blueberries need to be kept in moist (not wet) soil. If you let them dry out they will die back on the leaf tips. Salt burn from fertilizer could also cause leaf tip burn.
When you took the ph reading at 4.5 was that on dry mix or did you wet it? I get a different reading before and after when I water my blueberry plants . It’s usually lower when pot is wet. What is the correct way to take ph? Dry or wet soil for blueberries? Your video are so helpful and full of info. Thanks
The Bluelab soil ph pen I have work best when the soil are moist/slight wet and not dry. Thank you so much! Just trying to share my blueberries in container growing experiences n knowledge throughout the years with everyone that loves blueberries as much as we do haha.

I plan to do the same with all my rasberry plants. Awesome content bro.

It’s best o do half peat moss and half oranganic soil which will provide nutrients.

Nice blueberry vlog. Does blueberry doesn't have much leaves in spring?
Here in our growing zone 7 it can get quite cold during winter so all our of varieties of blueberries loses their leaves during dormancy.
@@natbackyardgarden But when spring comes, does it have more flowers than leaves?
@@onebicycle3772 yes flower will bloom profusely followed by leaves on most blueberry varieties.
@@natbackyardgarden I see. One of my blueberry is showing some dry brown colour at the tip of the leaves and yellowing. Is it dying?
