Awesome! Loving these videos, Is the buck essential on a project like this or does it just save you a lot of time over having to make say paper patterns from a original panel
Thank you! Not really no, I’d only say get a pattern like this made if you’re making more than one of the same. We had this pattern in storage from a while ago. The main difference with making it over an original panel is that you’ll find the overall size will grow. As this pattern would be taken from underneath opposed to being made over the top! You could still use paper patterns for this, I just haven’t because I don’t have any paper. 😂
Forgot to add, the hammer forming capability does help speed things a little, but not if you’re only planning on making 1. The time in making the pattern would undoubtedly out weigh the time saved on the light hammer form section. 😊👍🏼
Hey Toby, are you watching Wray's videos? You're doing the rear panel and he's doing the nose. Maybe between the two of you, meet in the middle, it could be a whole car.
Excelente trabajo

No I’ll have to check them out! I’m new to TH-cam so it’s taking a little bit of working out!
Really enjoying these videos thanks for taking the time to make them. What thickness and alloy aluminum are you using?
