As for kids staying home alone and home invasions, my biggest advise would be to put a double cylinder deadbolt on both the front door and back door of your house. This is a good idea. And around the windows of your house, put the black metal bars surrounding it (the ones of black metal fences) That way when you leave your house, you know that it'll be impossible for an intruder to enter in your house, your kids wouldn't open the door, you wouldn't be locked out, your kids would be safer, and you wouldn't have to worry too much about your home or your kids at home alone.
Funnily enough, that’s not unlikely. Most burglars/robbers would rather not have to deal with people, so it’s relatively common that they will knock before breaking in just to make sure that no one is home.
Jon Doe it’s more, if someone is home the robber is significantly less likely to succeed and it is significantly more likely conflict will ensue and the robber better hope they don’t have a gun.

I have a scary story(not a joke). I had my first experience of sleep paralysis this morning and it was utterly horrifying. Here’s how it went: I awoke from my dream, or so I thought, and was in my living room. My view was fixed on this one window, and I couldn’t move my eyes or my body. It was pitch dark outside and I couldn’t see anything. My vision started to blur until it went completely black. My eyes slowly opened and I was greeted with a little girl in beat up and dirty clothes standing in the middle of the street just blankly staring at me. Then my eyes began to blur again until my vision went dark. As my vision began to clear up, she was now standing in the middle of my yard. Her eyes came into view. Her abnormally large black pupils with a glowing green ring around the outside. As my vision blurred and refocused one more time, the window was gone and the cold midnight air hit my face. The girl popped up from the other side of the window and lunged at me. Finally, I woke up from what was more terrifying than any nightmare.

I’d love a Netflix series where Mr.Nightmare reads off the stories, while paid actors act them out. It would be awesome to have the visual aspect to these amazing tales.
The first story-I know he said the confidence came from the alcohol, but this isn’t the first time I’ve heard someone in this kind of story go looking around the house aggressively for an intruder. Personally, I would be absolutely terrified out of my mind and leave the house instantly; but I realize, it’s such a power move to aggressively look around and yell for whoever it is to show themselves. The criminal is now hiding from you in a very scary game of hide and seek, and psycho or not, the terror of hiding from someone is gonna get to them. All this to say, if you feel nervous in your home, maybe go around screaming and flipping things over to find them. Or you know, be reasonable and call the police or just leave the house. Take your pick

I discovered your channel recently and I just love these compilations of short stories in a 10-20 minute periods. Probably what I like most is how most of these are based in real life, and the villain of each other is just some predator or burglar rather than some paranormal, supernatural, experimental, otherworldly, etc creature in other creepy story videos. AKA while we don’t know if any of these stories are true, what’s so scary about them is not whether they did happen, it’s that they CAN happen.

I have a scary story(not a joke).
I had my first experience of sleep paralysis this morning and it was utterly horrifying. Here’s how it went:
I awoke from my dream, or so I thought, and was in my living room. My view was fixed on this one window, and I couldn’t move my eyes or my body. It was pitch dark outside and I couldn’t see anything. My vision started to blur until it went completely black. My eyes slowly opened and I was greeted with a little girl in beat up and dirty clothes standing in the middle of the street just blankly staring at me. Then my eyes began to blur again until my vision went dark. As my vision began to clear up, she was now standing in the middle of my yard. Her eyes came into view. Her abnormally large black pupils with a glowing green ring around the outside. As my vision blurred and refocused one more time, the window was gone and the cold midnight air hit my face. The girl popped up from the other side of the window and lunged at me. Finally, I woke up from what was more terrifying than any nightmare.

My mom used to have a saying. Unless the house is on fire, someone’s bleeding, or someone’s dying, don’t bother me. That extended to the man walking around behind the trees on the hill in our yard at 2am.

I’d love a Netflix series where Mr.Nightmare reads off the stories, while paid actors act them out. It would be awesome to have the visual aspect to these amazing tales.
The first story-I know he said the confidence came from the alcohol, but this isn’t the first time I’ve heard someone in this kind of story go looking around the house aggressively for an intruder. Personally, I would be absolutely terrified out of my mind and leave the house instantly; but I realize, it’s such a power move to aggressively look around and yell for whoever it is to show themselves. The criminal is now hiding from you in a very scary game of hide and seek, and psycho or not, the terror of hiding from someone is gonna get to them. All this to say, if you feel nervous in your home, maybe go around screaming and flipping things over to find them. Or you know, be reasonable and call the police or just leave the house. Take your pick

I discovered your channel recently and I just love these compilations of short stories in a 10-20 minute periods. Probably what I like most is how most of these are based in real life, and the villain of each other is just some predator or burglar rather than some paranormal, supernatural, experimental, otherworldly, etc creature in other creepy story videos.
AKA while we don’t know if any of these stories are true, what’s so scary about them is not whether they did happen, it’s that they CAN happen.
Burglar horror story: A cellphone rung on the empty kitchen table and a guy on the other end says, "Hi, where'd you find this phone? Are you at the bar?"
