God bless your family Sergei! Glad to see all of you together and happy . I enjoy watching your vlog with your wife and your nice looking boys and Valentina parents , enjoying their stay in samal . Let’s support Sergei and Valentina blogs . How they appreciate staying in the island and enjoying Filipino foods 👍
no, we don't eat raw meat. even meat kinilaw is cooked. We only eat raw like blue marlin kinilaw, anchovy kinilaw, shrimp kinilaw. We don't eat raw it has to be marinated with vinegar for some minutes because we are worried about salmonelia virus and some other bacteria.
Adobo usually don’t have sugar. Adobo ingredients are: chicken or pork, soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, onions, bay leaf, black or crushed peppers, and small amount of oil on the frying pan.
Eating champorado (sweet rice poridge with chocolate and coconut milk, and/or milk) with dried salted fish used to be weird for me and for many in the Bicol Region. But now, it has been popularized in many parts of the country.
Sergei, 10k subs is coming up soon!! 👏 👏👏👏 you’re doing a great job! I think that other chicken dish is with chicken gizzards. In Malabon where I live in the Philippines, we dip ripe banana in fish sauce. 🤣
Philippine adobo (from Spanish adobar: "marinade," "sauce" or "seasoning" / English: /əˈdoʊboʊ/ Tagalog pronunciation: [ɐdobo]) is a popular Filipino dish and cooking process in Philippine cuisine. In its base form, meat, seafood, or vegetables are first browned in oil, and then marinated and simmered in vinegar, salt and/or soy sauce, and garlic.
Adobo means "marinated" from the Spanish word adobado. Historically, before Adobo, was only marinated in vinegar. There was no soy sauce at that time ... Chinese migrations brought this new flavor rof soy sauce on Filipino table." Take note" Adobo was existed already even before the Spaniards landed in the islands. Now, Philippines . Enjoy. And God Bless!!!
Adobo from Spanish word "Adobar" cook from Vinegar and soy sauce salt, bay leaf, little salt and sugar optional or you can marinate it before cooking 🙋👍👏🙏❤️🇵🇭🇷🇺
There's a new TH-cam channel coming out soon. "Friendly Russian 🇷🇺 Mama and Papa!" Very sweet couple with a very warm, friendly, smiling and outgoing personality. Not the typical Russian but more like Filipinos.
Yes, adobo comes from the Spanish verb adobar, which means to marinate. Adobo si marinade. But the Philippines named the dish with soy sauce, vinegar, black pepper, garlic and onion marinade as adobo.
we have different kind of adobe in the Philippines, we have adobong pusit (squid), adobong sitaw (string beans), adobong kangkong ( water squash), some people add brown sugar to have a bit sweet, but some are not because they like the taste of mixed salty and sour, but I saw Jelena the German vlogger she add to their menu in their restaurant, the adobo ang sinigang, she add pineapple juice to adobo rather than sugar, so it's more healthy than sugar, but you can add siling labuyo if you want a little bit spicy of your adobo. you can use soy sauce and oyster sauce to make it tastier, I hope that you can understand my grammar. because I always sleeping when i was a student during English subject coz it's kinda boring for me, hahaha, that's not a joke but it's funny I guess

Adobo is to marinate and preserve the food. Because in long time ago people dont have refrigerator . So the cook adobo so it will last long. Adobo will be more delicious in many days just put it in refrigerator and re hear it
Hello for cooking Adobo whether pork or chicken the recipe is almost the same. First put a little bit of oil in a hot pan, fry 6-8 pcs garlic then onions 1 or 2 pieces, stir until quite brown then put the chicken or pork. Stir to combine the garlic and onions. Wait until when oil comes out from the chicken or adobo. Then add pepper, 2 tablespoon soya sauce and 2 1/2 oyster sauce. Sauce or stir for 3-5 minutes, then put water and cook to boil until the chicken or pork is tender or soft. Cover the pan. If already soft put a little vinegar and then cook until the sauce is little as to your liking. Serve and enjoy with hot rice.
Some eat with their hands some use spoon it depends on a person. In adobo some use brown sugar, some use coke or sprite for sweetness. For me i use coke or sprite.
@@FriendlySergei This is an example of it: th-cam.com/users/shortsqClXWdvFoHg?si=PEZXGOuzztXfu5Ks I think it has different variations as well, depending on the person making them. not all Filipinos like sweet adobo or sweet atchara. For me, i prefer not sweet adobo we don't put any sweetener in it. My family don't like it. Even with spaghetti we don't like sweet spaghetti. Same as with the atchara i don't like sweet atchara. So basic rule is try to cooked and prepare your food based on your preference not based on the recipe. You may do some adventures on cooking. And FYI, not all adobo is cooked with soy sauce. Originally meat adobo is cooked with just salt and let the oily fat comes out. Soy sauce only comes in when we cooked vegetable adobo like adobong kangkong, adobong baguio beans, adobong sitaw and also adobong isda. In fact we have adobong mani (peanut) which is cooked with just salt and no soy sauce. Adobo therefore is preserving the food by marinating and cooking it with salt or salty implements.
