Garal Gacha Jamidar Bari or “Babuder Bari” located at the Garalgacha village of Hooghly district of West Bengal. Pandit Santosh Mohan Vidyabagish of Bardhaman came to Garalgacha village to live on a non-taxable gifted land by Nawab of Murshidabad with the Royal consent of King of Bardwan. After that his two son Gokulchandra and Radhanath started Durga Puja in this house nearly 250 years ago. Younger son Radhanath worked on a prestigious post under the kingdom of Murshidabad and he also got free lands as gift from Nawabs. Dwarikanath Mukhopadhyay, son of Radhanath was a Garrison Engineer in his early life but later he established Zamindari at Garalgacha and got the title of ‘Roy-Bahadur’ from Britishers. Garalgacha Jamindar Bari can be reached both by road and rail. The nearest railway station is Dankuni Junction which can be reached both from Sealdah and Howrah via Howrah - Barddhaman chord local. Then by auto or toto reach the Garalgacha jamindar Bari. By road avail Belghoria Expressway to Dankuni than cross Kalikapur Bridge reach Garalgacha.
