Tuned pipes don’t normally have anything in them either. Usually the tuning is in the volume of the pipe which helps the engine develop more power at certain rpm ranges. With race cars you can use different pipes suited to different tracks.
That's a Mardave 4 cell charger, it's 2 current limiting resistors in there. They're super dangerous, they get red hot I melted my bedroom carpet with one of them. They came with the Mardave Mini Stock Car.
That's correct. They were really dangerous. Mine melted it's way into my Mk 2 escorts dash board many many years ago and one set fire to my mates 2.8 ford capri seat lol happy days. Mardave fast charges you had to love them.
I smacked my favourite (and oldest) FTX into a tree yesterday and broke the chassis. Second time of doing it now. I really must learn to brake. 😁 The first time I did it, it was the only RC buggy I owned so a big deal for me. Luckily, parts are cheap and easy to find. Been thinking about maybe it is time to upgrade it to the carbon fibre chassis. The problem is, it began life as a cheap buggy. Do I really want to be spending so much money on upgrading it? The thing is, I enjoy the bench work, modding and rebuilding but does an upgraded buggy not just end up as a shelf queen? It is a buggy I like to run. I don't want it stuck on a shelf gathering dust.
Question brother. My savage 4.6 nitro motor. Can I use the big block header so the body shell can for my Revo 3.3 The header is smaller by like .1 mm or some small fraction I measured it they’re so close to the same size I can’t see it being a bad thing. 👍😊
@@HaggardRC Ya sweet bro. I haven’t run the exhaust yet as with all my Only Decent builds I do not fancy wrecking them on the first go. That can and had happened to me now a few times. Best thing is I’m learning as fast as my brain can possibly adapt. The hobby knows no bounds when it comes to helpful family friendly fun entertainment It’s the best thing the world needed ( in this day and age ) lol I never say that lol. But I’m this case it explains greatly how much the hobby is a straight up cure for time wasted as it has so many perks it’s magic. I could go on and on for hours. That’s how much I love the hobby 🤪❤️💯👊😎

Glad the exhaust worked out, wasn’t sure it would go 90 degrees but figured 180 is better than where it was!

A modified buggy can be used it doesn’t have to be a paper weight.

It could be just a carry around to charge your batteries at when you're out and about as a backup charger maybe
that was me i had the same problem i like to blow in the tube to prime my engine and its a hazel when its on inside . i like the generator bit
