One of the greatest Pink Floyd songs! People always talk about comfortably numb or the wall pt.2, but imo this is the greatest guitar work from Gilmour...Transcribing it was a real challenge, but so rewarding in the end! my advice on the famous chord: it's not an arpeggio, (we're not in classical folk but rock blues here), so it's down up up up - you will hear the difference (normally 😮)
Been playing guitar for 2 months now (after playing bass for nearly a decade), have tried this song before but man... YOUR TONE IS SO GOOD!!!! What's the settings? Great job btw, earned yourself a new sub
Thanks man! I'm assuming you mean the intro solo tone, since it's the distinctive one. The secret is not using an amp. Gilmour recorded this straight into the mixing desk. I recorded straight into my DAW without an amp simulation. Also there is quiet a bit of compression...

flawless 11 minutes cover 🎉
the sound created by the fingers is not optimal but it's a useful tab
Thank you so much!
The best PF song ever. Great video, too, especially the easy-to-follow tabs for the multiple guitar parts!
Thank you so much!

Nice work man, this is pretty neat.
Thanks!
Thanks for this. Quite hard to play due to damping strings and phrasing.
Yeah, this song definetely seems easier than it actually is...
Very beautiful song from Pink Floyd, amazing job on this. Maybe something from Pantera next?
Thank you! Yeah, that's possible. Maybe next year I can do some Pantera
Great work!
Thank you!

This is somehow en easy, yet extremely difficult song to play.
Yeah, agreed! Not the easiest thing to get all the bends right 😁
