Thanks for the information. The CBSPD endoscope exam was a little tricky for me because some of the materials I studied was not on the exam which became a guessing game while taking the exam. I failed it by 3 points. I will be taking IAHCSMM exam instead . By the way , the future name for IAHCSMM will be Healthcare Sterile Processing Association HSPA name change effective January 2022. Im CRCST certified through HSPA, i work at a hospital (FT) and want my CER, ive been working in scopes for about 1.5 months now. Looks like i need 3 mths and mgr signature.
My question is should I take SGNA (GI Technical Specialist) exam? CBSPD exam one time recertification in 5 years Or rock with HSPA CER certificate Or do a combo SGNA and CER Do you think I’ll be well rounded with the combo or do I need just one? Context: reprocessing scopes two years in sterile processing dept. no GI lab experience.

where are you getting these books from?... I hear you mention 3 and there's only 2 available at HSPA website... and one is 90 the other is 67....
