Im CRCST certified through HSPA, i work at a hospital (FT) and want my CER, ive been working in scopes for about 1.5 months now. Looks like i need 3 mths and mgr signature.

And 4 of my test the person acting like she didn't get. I know she got them because when I passed it told me. Know I have to go through this women playing games holding my CEU's. Then you said I will received in five days it's going on a month and she asking what date I did it. So if this person asking me what date. How is she able to hold my work and not give it to me. I did about 8 CEU's and she only gave me 4 and asking my dates. Why is this person asking me when did I do the work. This tell me this person is not prepared for this job she's asking me something she shouldn't be. She should give me my CEU's without talking to me so why is she lying not to give me my CEU's. When the test said I passed and will receive my CEU's.

Why do you people talk instead of taking us to the test. We have been doing this over 8 years ever year you make it hard and waste our time.

Thank you for this! Need all of my credits ASAP, as the ones I was counting on using all have errors on them from their sources and I can't count on them being fixed on time. So I have 3 days to get all of my credits plus working 10 hour shifts. Thanks to you, I think I'll be able to make the deadline. :)

I love this. This is all so true. Patient health is first. You got good workers and bad workers. That’s where the QA come in at if not the supervisor. When you got technicians telling other technicians what to do. You have a problem. I worked in sterile processing for 23 years. Done see it all. I wish all technicians see this.

I passed my test today, I took the old CER test

My question is should I take SGNA (GI Technical Specialist) exam? CBSPD exam one time recertification in 5 years Or rock with HSPA CER certificate Or do a combo SGNA and CER Do you think I’ll be well rounded with the combo or do I need just one? Context: reprocessing scopes two years in sterile processing dept. no GI lab experience.
