I wish McFarlane released a Raven Guard Eliminator instead as the they are the Chapter that is known for long-range, sniper-style combat. I guess I'll just buy and paint it after.

Just got the Macfarlane WH40k Karskin. I was actually somewhat impressed with the detail, sturdiness, and possibility. Gonna keep up with Macfarlane WH40k for now.

I have a McFarlane Ultramarine Eliminator, I like the figure for what I paid. Mine unfortunately has a paint defect on the face, his face looks like it scuffed. The figure also arrived with a loose right leg that since been reattached and tightened. I would like McFarlane to release no more Ultramarines, excluding the rumoured Titus figure. I hope Imperial Fists are made next.

Sprues will you review the UM terminator captain? If yes will you compare him to the previous 2 captains?

I sold all my McFarlane Warhammer figures, but isn’t this guy a different color from the other McFarlane Ultramarines? I seem to remember the older ones being lighter blue.

Ultrasmurf -> easiest pass ever. BTW, the lego WH40K chainsword I bought on JoyToy should arrive to me in a matter of days, I can't wait to build it.

Well, looks like they've been mixing or changing things around as you can also see in the Spacemarine 2 game. The lore is that Salamanders are Africans and White Scars are Asians. Two of my favorite Chapters aside from BAs. It's what we get if the people who they put in the decision board do not know the lore or even familiar with it, or simply just want to shake the foundations. But yeah, it will be up to the long time fans of WH40k to find a way to explain it and be at least acceptable.

I really hate the McFarlane figures. So much missed potential. Imagine if he made this wave back in the early 2000s. Would have been amazing

Definitely the best McFarlane era for a collector like me. All paint and no articulation. I usually just get my figures in one appealing pose and set them on a shelf anyway. I’m not sure what the modern push for hyper articulation and soft good capes is when most of the people I see asking for those things pose their figures like stiff, off balance, mannequins.

@@thenostalgiabusiness same, I loved how they were affordable mini statues. Now to get that kind of paint and detail it’s always over 100 dollars. Couldn’t care less about articulation.

@@thenostalgiabusiness My JoyToy Iron Father Feirros wants to talk you about articulations and paint being complementary to each other. It's just that this guy (Todd) is lazy, lazy when other people like ZDToys (from whom I bought an Ultraman Gaia figure a couple of months ago) they might not be perfect but at least they paint all their figures from head to toe and they produce economic action figures. BTW, you might be interested in the fact that I too decided a couple of days ago to sell all my McFarlane figures, the insane detail of Feirros made me go completely nuts. McFarlane makes toys for children, not objects for collectors. The price point is an excuse, there are options to buy JoyToy figures through installments (paypal?) and on the longer period the price point becomes completely moot.

McFarlane figures comparing to JoyToy are real trash, they dont even mind doing the details or any shading.
