    I had to stop video and comment.....you've just shown us the beauty and drama in Brusho use. I'm happy with a decision I made early in my Watercolour Adventures..... I will never be responsible for ever opening a Brusho container. I am firm in my self-awareness that, for me, Brusho is a spectator sport only. I know I will never be sorry. Now....back to the rest of this (another) gem-filled video. Thanks Michele, for all you do, and doing it so very well.

      Lots of people say that. I don't even think about it. I am kind of always aware that it's just acting 😏

    I'm disappointed that this has nothing to do with watercolour pencils. That's what I was expecting from the title.

      Sorry Melanie, there are lots of watercolor pencils videos on this channel if you look under playlists

    Love the backgrounds! They madea huge difference in leveling up the flowers. Thanks for showing us to accomplish it and making it look easy.

    Great techniques..I know your using hot WC paper but what brand are you using...I now realize why my WC pencils dont do so well on cold WC paper😬🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️did not know that WC pencils do better with a smoother I mean you've probably said that idea...lol but I've learned so much this past yr I might have just compartmentalized it in my limited pandemic brain cells and never could recall the bit nugget of info till I saw how smoother your drawing / painting are....on hot...lol🤪paper, not that using WC pencil on cold wc is wrong I just notice like you said that my drawings/ painting always looks a bit wonky due to the paper being a bit rougher ....lolololol......mikelle New York mom😏😷👩‍🎨✍🎨

    During the watercolour course ( after Poppy completion ), found your „backgrounds video“, super! Now I can add backgrounds! Also have heard „ brusho“ mentioned often but, have avoided it. Now, you‘ve shown us how to use it will try it out. Thanks.

    Since glitter can be found on me 3 days later, I’m a bit leery of brusho but I’ll brave it one day...😝

    always excellent ideas and quality of videos, Michelle. Although it seems like Brusho is more trouble than it is worth with the mess. Our home is a "glitter free zone" due to the ongoing mess. I open Christmas cards over the garbage can and toss any with glitter. It seems that glitter (and now Brusho) are the herpes of the crafting and art worlds. You pass it on, but never get rid of it yourself! 😀

    Masking tape - awesome!

  • @ForestGirlTeresa
    @ForestGirlTeresa 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thanks Michelle! I have got to try out the masking tape technique. I am working on a mushroom painting and there is a branch that would be ideal to try and get a bark texture using longitudinal strips of tape. Also I saw your fuzzy tape method in another of your videos and I use that all the time now.

    Those are gorgeous! I'm curious because you mentioned it - what are some of your favorite horror movies?

    • @IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber
      @IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Bram Stoker's Dracula would be one of them, got to love a bit of Keanu... but I am also fond of a 1970s hammer horror with wobbly castle walls and bats on strings :-)

      @@IntheStudiowithMicheleWebber This is honestly my favourite interpretation of Dracula in movie! I've watched too many versions but Bram Stoker's Dracula would always be in my memory as one of the best.
