Why is nobody talking about Monty?? He was such an optimist, he never gave up and his heart was gold. For real, the only reason they've survived, is because of him.
He lived a full life with the person he loved and died of natural causes, he also got to say a proper goodbye and lives on through Jordan. His death wasn't as emotional because unlike the others he had a happy ending.

Literally, like every scene with someone who was alive I was like oop they all dead but them. Ik it's a tribute it's just sad, so many characters just gone
If you really think about it, Jasper was right, ever since coming to the ground he was forced to be someone else to survive, take season 2 for example, he wanted to help his friends but he didn’t know what the cost was, in short order, maya dies and that broke him. Then in season 4 he found himself again, he didn’t force anyone to join him to die on the ark, he didn’t judge anyone for not dying with him, he just wanted to go back to being the old Jasper Jordan he once was, it’s not that he was weak or gave up life, he just didn’t want to be turned into a soldier or a monster, not everyone can be a survivor like Clarke, octavia or even Monty, some people will cross any line to survive, instead Jasper decided to live the rest of his days in peace doing what he loves. I personally think that the writers did an amazing job with Jasper

Lexa deserved to live. She formed an alliance with Skaikru when she knew it could’ve gotten her killed by her people. She was merciful even when it would’ve been better for her to break it off. She was truly an amazing character. I wish we knew more about her upbringing like they did with Echo. Nevertheless, she really should have lived.

Same. Lincoln and Lexa were awesome. I'm a hardcore Bellarke shipper, but I loved Clexa too. I wish we could have seen more of their relationship. Also, Lexa was an awesome character through and through, and I would have loved to see her character develop and change throughout the seasons

Man, I almost forgot how many characters we’ve lost over the past 6 seasons. So sad realizing that they lost so many of the original 100 members. The past season was actually my favourite season since the first one.

Jasper's death hit me hardest. He had given up and its terrible to feel as if your world is gone and you are left in ruins with no other options. Horrible to be blinded by so much pain to not see the people who care for you. So painful to feel as if you have nothing else to live for.

i agree with you 100%, everyone's talking about lexa and lincoln but jasper's death was genuinely the worst. he deserved way better and to see him die in front of monty, who's been his best friend for a while, hurts. it irritates me to also have to see people hate on jasper and their reasoning is "he's annoying" or "he's useless". as someone who's had to deal with depression before, i couldn't help but love jasper for being a more realistic portrayal of how some teens would deal with loss. he may not be as strong as the rest but he is not weak whatsoever.

I mean it was just more war after that. He was never gonna find happiness after that, it's so much pain in their world and it's non stop. Even if he didn't commit suicide he was gonna be left to die, because he wasn't on the list for the bunker and they didn't have enough space in the rocket ship. Even, if he did manage to survive it was just more war after that and they literally had to evacuate the planet because they destroyed the ONLY place they could live on. And now they are in ANOTHER war against people on a different planet. I'm sorry, but if my existence was nothing but pain I wouldn't want to keep living either. That's no way to live. Nearly, all the main survivors are world weary, tired, miserable and have blood on their hands. Sometimes death is better.

both jasper’s and lincoln’s deaths actually hurt me so much, like that’s when i realized they really were gonna start killing off just anybody, no matter how important. i don’t think i’ll ever not be upset about some of these deaths.
Wait that’s when you realized it? Not when they killed their second male lead in the third episode of the show? Or when they then killed off their main male lead halfway through the second season?
@@jaxon3333 Fin was never meant to be the male character, it kinda makes sense that they killed him. The show is based on a book ,tho it's a lot different and it doesn't follow it strictly ,the book is still their base and Fin doesn't exist there . If they kept him alive it would be very difficult to continue,since the main male character of the book is Belamy and he has a lot of focus in the story . See the good side, Fin had a character development while other characters like Belamy and Clark don't have even after 6 seasons. He changed but he is also from the few that his actions trully hunted him , he realised what he did and didn't turn in an emotionless monster thinking that he took the right choices . He payed the price. That's how good written characters are
Shiro Dude the books and show are nothing like the books outside of the initial premise (100 delinquents sent down to earth to see if it’s survivable) and a couple of characters who share the same name (Clarke, Bellamy, Wells, Octavia, and Jaha). The characters in the show are nothing like the characters in the book though so what the books did didn’t mean anything for the direction the show went in. In season 1 Finn was absolutely the male lead of the show, Bellamy became the second after Wells died (which never happened in the books btw) and then took the lead male role once Finn died. But until then yes Finn was the male lead.
Also how can you think that 1x01 Bellamy and Clarke are the exact same unchanged characters as 6x13 Bellamy and Clarke? Cause if you actually do I don’t know what to tell you except you’re just incorrect. That’s like saying Murphy hasn’t changed over the 6 seasons. The 100 had been very good at exploring and developing their characters.
And about Finn, I personally hated his character. I felt he was just a boring dick who had no right to be as self righteous as he was throughout the show and was glad that he got killed off after massacring that village.

Agreed, he was probably the only genuinely good person throughout the show, despite starting off as an antagonist in the first half of Season 1. He always made the right call when faced with moral dilemmas and difficult choices, for the greater good of everyone. True character development right there.
