He even tells her, "we're standing here because of you" he knew he blew it and he's the only guy who will even say it among all these guys who blew off the call who will admit it. I think a lot of it has to do with it being a patriarchal society even though the women have proven themselves to be just as strong and capable, there is still that sense that "we have to follow a man"
When the last season is out, I think you should take a look at songs by a band called Within Temptation. They've got sooo many songs that fit GoT. "Hand of sorrow", "Our solemn hour", "Raise your banner" and "In vain" (also "endless war", but that one is not out yet...) perhaps, "What have you done" for Cersei and Jaime, "The howling", "frozen", "the promise" and "Deceiver of fools". These are only suggestions, but also, perhaps requests :D
I know that in GOT there are male characters that are worth jon (yes jon), jaime, gray worm, but there is no doubt that the development of female empowerment is incredible, as always starting at the lowest and weakest but her development as a figure powerful and intelligent is what I like about GOT, men almost always change in the sense that they regret it and realize that those they know really have no idea who they are, but the change in women is that it happened to me once won't happen to me again, mark my words..

It may be a little off-topic, but does anyone know why they changed the Lannister brothers' departure to nice (in comparison to the book)- but then had that conversation between Jaime & Bronn about Tyrion? In the books Tyrion seems to now hate his siblings equally (& seems subconsciously conflicted about it), yet the only indication that Jaime may hate Tyrion in turn, is Tyrion's own thought; 'even Jaime might be vexed that I put a quarrel in Father's belly'- that may be slightly paraphrased, it's been a little while since I read the book. I get that the show cut characters, conflated them & in some cases reduced their importance [Tysha]- & that the limited PoV we get differs from the more omniscient quality of the show, but I feel very nervy about what's going to happen when they meet again.
Lot of people will say, the father of Heaven and Earth and his son Jesus Christ the lord and savior they are late! you'll realize that when they show up your bow and you'll go down in flame! the Flames will not be at your feet, It will be all over your body, you'll regret that you didn't repent! But somehow mere mortals thinks that their immortal, Actually something wonderful when are just men and women, that are weak! That build up these shells, these fantasy world that all come to an end soon!
