How to Save on Back to School Shopping (even after Tax Free Weekend is done!)

Even though tax-free weekend has passed here in Nashville, you may be surprised to know there could be even better deals ahead! You just need to know where to shop, what to look for and how to stack your savings.
Office Supply stores, drug stores and supermarkets have great deals right now on school supplies...some for pennies or BOGO free!
Shop Online to save time and gas...plus use cashback sites to save even more
Don't wait for the weekend to shop (for example, Foot Locker had a midweek sale offering 25% off online, but the sale stopped on Thursday. Macy's is also offering midweek flash sales where the savings are up to 75% off)
Stagger your shopping: only buy what they need for this semester (ex: you can always send in more cleaning supplies, pencils, etc, second semester)
If your child needs new electronics for school, sell their old version or trade it in for credit. Apple also has great savings for college students + a gift card deal.
And don't forget the savings basics: Find a sale, use a coupon, shop through cashback/rebate sites and stock up with enough to get you through until the next sales cycle!
