Japanese is a language i want to learn! i watch all your Japanese videos because you are the only asmrist i watch that has a really nice voice and you make it fun too! stay safe. love you
Your voice is so soothing, it makes your videos have a special aura ✨☺️ I’ve been slacking on my Japanese studies so this video was really fun to watch 😄
These videos are some of my favorite to put on and listen to in the background; it seems doubly productive combining things you like! Thank you as always for the wonderful upload 😴😴
i'm a portuguese speaker, I already speak english then now I want to learn Japanese, I have memorize hiragana and katakana, and I have knowledge about some japanese grammars.
I live in Thailand and I have found those erasable pens before. I haven't seen them in a while but I haven't looked in a while. I love the content by the way its so peaceful and soothing!
I'm learning japanese and I had a question haha, is there a way to learn hiragana/katakana easier? or how did you learn it? Btw, I love your videos, and i hope one day i could sounds like you :)
hate to break up to you. im a nihongo learner myself, the only way to remember it is to always look/read/write them. always. tried watching youtube this and that looking for “fast” way to learn it but to no avail. if you’re an anime fans, it helps. not much, but it terms of vocabs and pronunciation, it helps a bit. ganbatte!
Make a mental picture of each hiragana, how each character looks like something (for example, e/え looks like someone running). It’s difficult to learn, but it’s so worth the effort
19:20 Project in Japanese sounds surprisingly similar to spanish projecto, like almost the same. Also Europe in japanese sounds similar to spanish, just with an accent and like with a more exaggerated emphasis in each vowel.
What does the hoodie even mean? Those coordinates seem to just be some random statue in Stockholm. H&M sells this hoodie but doesn't explain the significance of the coordinates (if there is one)
You have such a soft, gentle beauty. Watching this is full of warmth and reminds me of my own Genki II textbook, which I haven't opened since finishing JP3. I wonder what Mary-san is up to now...
Cram schools AFAIK are similar to what we call "cursinhos" in Brazil; they're preparatory schools for uni entrance exams. Admissions in university in Japan (and in many other countries including mine) hinge only on the results of a single standardized exam that happens once a year. Because of this "once in a year, all or nothing" characteristic there's heavy pressure on doing well in the test, as the results will be used to rank students and high-ranking students have better chances of studying in the best unis and the lower ones might have no chance at all. In cram schools one basically studies the curricula that is required for the exam by rote and repetition and take interminable sessions of test tests that use past questions, so when the time for the real one comes one is used to the type, content and style of question, the time pressure/ constraint etc. Also not doing well in the test generally is regarded as a disappointment nor only for the student but for their family as well. The "son I am disappoint" Asian mom/dad meme stuff is serious ;3; (I am japanese-brazilian btw; here there is also a high pressure on kids for them to enter prestigious universities and carreers)
I’m only on my second week of my Japanese 101 class but your videos have been so fun to watch. :) I was wondering where you got your hiragana flash cards, and how much you paid for them? I’ve looked on Amazon and most sets seem to be $20-$25. I just don’t know if that’s a good price or not? P.S. Not sure where you live, I’m in SoCal and we have Daiso stores that sell pilot frixion pens. If not, I’ve seen them on Amazon. I love the pastel highlighters, they’re erasable too!
The cordinates on the sweatshirt are to an H&M Store in sweden. Also the hoodie is like 200 dollars? Is it because you can only get that hoodie at that particular store? Idk why I even googled this tbh but I wanted to share with anyone intersested
I most certainly did not pay $200 hahah it was like 30 where I got it www2.hm.com/en_us/productpage.0738713040.html link if you're interested we can match :D

Online flash cards with both hiragana and katakana characters. Repetition will do wonders for you.
Make a mental picture of each hiragana, how each character looks like something (for example, e/え looks like someone running). It’s difficult to learn, but it’s so worth the effort

You have such a soft, gentle beauty. Watching this is full of warmth and reminds me of my own Genki II textbook, which I haven't opened since finishing JP3. I wonder what Mary-san is up to now...
I got a special Friction ball pen after I graduated from Sophia University (上智大学) in Tokyo.
Great video!!!
