I was hoping you would show how to connect several accessories to the dew controller. I am running the 4X Dew Controller with a CGX mount, StarSense Autoguider, Celestron GPS Module, CPWI, SharpCap software with ZWO camera, all controlled using a Windows 11 laptop. How do I connect all of that with power, USB, AUX, and still get CPWI to recognize it all? I can never get CPWI to recognize both the StarSense Autoguider, and the Dew controller, as well as control the mount. Also, do I need the hand controller if I am using CPWI with a laptop??? It can all get very confusing. Please produce a wiring diagram for the various accessories or put that in a video. I have read the Dew Controller user manual and it just does not cover this very well.
Can you please provide a video on how to set optimal settings? My issue is that when on Auto setting with power set at 5, I immediately get spikes in my larger stars. I also tried to set it at 1 power but still get spikes. What would be an optimal setting in manual mode to get rid of the spikes? For reference, I have the Celestron 9.25 EdgeHD with the dew heater ring and 2 port controller.
I would like to know how you feel about selling substandard rubbish, I bought one of your Powerseeker 127 EQ's and it well... it isnt good, missing bushes from the assembly bolts, extremely loose assembly, the primary mirror when it arrived was loose and the starfinder was actually missing a bolt. 4 weeks after purchasing the scope, the secondary mirror actually fell out during a track of saturn, this has since cracked the primary mirror making the telescope useless, I wont be replacing the mirror or buying anything more from this chinese knockoff company. Please for the love of god people, dont buy this Celestron stuff, stick to something more sensible like Orion.
Hi Philip, Sorry to hear about your PowerSeeker. We would love to assist you in making this right. Please submit a ticket to our technical support team here: www.celestron.com/pages/technical-support
The most sensible thing to do in a situation like this is refer problem back the dealer from which you made your purchase. Celestron do provide a warranty on their products. It is a bit poor and pointless just to post your comment like this on a public web site un verified, it just sounds like you are having a go at Celestron. So if you have a legitimate purchase receipt go back to your dealer. Come back and let us know how you got on.
