Wow..well explained..thank you.. I want to ask.. I'm tall and I'll be using a 6 yard saree for madisar (with a dupatta for kachham), for some rituals. The saree rises above my ankles when i wear it this way. Any suggestions?

Getting proper shape is all about perfect drapping. You have to bring all the fabric to the front after putting kacham and make sure it's proper. You can check part 1 of the video link is in the description. And then have to pin the pallu accordingly with loose to get correct shape. Thanks for clearing the doubts. How to easily make pleats while pinning this saree in the end. The pleats are slipping from the shoulder. Also is it advisable to wear petticoat folded into half inside.

You can wear a churidar bottom / leggings of same colour as 9 yards pudavai( sari) and wear the madisar over it, so no part of leg will be seen

After draping the saree my kachcham is visible from behind.. I mean it droops
