i know this probably won't come to the US, but it would be so cool if it did! i think there would be a market for people looking for a tiny car for city driving, or just a good car for anyone on a budget. it's very cute and unique!!! i would love to see them everywhere on the streets.
I am waiting casper since it’s launch announced. Now it is launched in korea and very very surprising news that casper would not be launched in India. This is very shocking for me and crores like me. When several other products of Hundai are sold in India why not casper.
Pity Australia can't get it. MAYBE to replace the ugly ass Venue. We never thought we'd get the Palisade but then we did. Which I will probably eventually but when they're 10 years old. Just so I can have it jumping over rocks on my farm and beat the hell outta it.
The 1.0 T-GDi in this is actually detuned, the main variant makes 118hp and 127 lbft torque, with that this would make more sense, as with the engine as it is it takes over 10 seconds to reach 60.
Brilliant idea. It's the Suzuki Ignis - but much more contemporary - so very sad it's not coming to UK, I'd buy one in this spec tomorrow, with the turbo engine.
This would sell like hotcakes in India. would replace our santro xing 2009 and we also dont have to increase/decrease our garage. awesome car for city trips and occasional weekend long trips.
Hyundai may be missing a (MAJOR) trick in not considering other markets for this. In the UK, an EV version at a max £20k price and 300km range would clean up.

Sadly there’s no Hyundai logo on the steering wheel and no Manual Transmission. Hope that Hyundai will bring Casper to the Philippines and will be marketed as a City Car and not a Mini SUV. If entering the Philippines, this car will be powered with a Manual Transmission.
