Nachos at an actual theater would likely only be chips, nacho cheese (not shredded cheese melted), and maybe jalapenos. They don't usually have any meat or sour cream or guacamole unless the theater has a restaurant.

One of the reasons movie candy is in the waxed cardboard boxes is so there are no noisy wrappers to deal with during the movie. Although, I always seem to be close that one person who either brings something in or finds the noisiest wrapper sold and then takes forever to eat it.

Kool-Aid is absolutely marketed to and for kids. You'd see their commercials during children's programming and their ads in the comic books all the time when I was a kid. In fact, in most of the Kool-Aid commercials I saw as a kid had moms in the commercial commenting on how it had less sugar than sodas which is why they bought if for their kids. Then of course they went to the Kool-Aid man breaking through walls which was definitely aimed at kids.

Kool Aid is for all ages and flavors, as long as you add sugar. Most foreigners never make it right. And they usually choose cherry, which is weird....because they always equate it to their medicine flavor. That's a no go. 😂 No cough syrup drinks for me 😊

My husband loves Kool-aid lemonade and pink lemonade. He makes it with half the recommended sugar. Even when we made koolade fr the kids we did it with half the sugar.
Nachos are good for anywhere, anytime. :)
I have never tried Takis but I'm munching on a local favorite, Middleswarth Barbecue Potato Chips. They are only available in parts of Pennsylvania. Pennsylvanians who move away always stock up when they come back home. :)
The movie theater seating is lovely - hope you continue to enjoy them.
For the record, you'll find that in the States, you'll hear "caramel" pronounced any number of ways. I usually say "CARE-a-mel" but for some reason, perhaps because he pronounces it this way, I will use the "carmel" pronunciation when speaking to my husband. Odd.
Favorite movies - I can't list just one. the Princess Bride makes the list, as does To Kill a Mockingbird and The Searches (an old John Wayne pic) and anther Wayne flick, A Quiet Man. I've always loved Mrs Miniver, even though people declaim it as sappy. So I'm a sap! I've enjoyed loads of movies, but these are ones I've watched multiple times and will surely watch them again.

Kool-Aid buy > black cherry! It isn't tart. I use 2 packages in a pitcher. If it's too sweet just cut back on the sugar some - 3/4 cup instead of a full cup.

Last time I went to a movie was when Bohemian Rhapsody! I don't drink Kool Aid often, but I LOVE strawberry!! I've never had nachos at the movies, it's always buttered popcorn ... LOTS of butter!!! Twizzlers (Strawberry!), Milk Duds, Green Apple Airheads! For pop (we call it pop where I'm originally from in the States, but it's mainly called soda where I currently live, or you call it cola I think I've heard), I'm a Mountain Dew girl!! LOL But would do Dr Pepper as well. Or even a Graveyard (which is a mix of several different pops together! I used to go to movies quite a bit when I lived in Minot, ND! Since moving to Illinois in June 2001, I've been to maybe 5 or so at least!

My Mom always kept at least 4 pitchers in the refrigerator, 2 different flavors of kool-aid, 2 types of breakfast juice and 2 sweet teas.
They were next to the canned sodas (coke, sprite, dr. pepper, etc) and whole milk.
I only liked sweet tea, strawberry or watermelon kool-aid, five alive, tang or hawaiian punch, chocolate or strawberry flavored milk and coke or sprite.
Since they were always refrigerated, we rarely put ice in them as kids, they were cold enough already.
Ice was necessary in fast food restaurants because the liquid was room temperature without it.
I think that fast food habit was what put ice and water dispensers in refrigerator doors.
Don’t know about everyone else but when I was growing up, we only added ice if it was necessary to take the liquids to refrigerated temperatures.
I also gave my kids the same type of varieties to drink and taste test until they found their favorites.
My son gravitated toward orange, grape and tropical fruit punch; my daughter gravitated toward the strawberry, cherry and sweet teas; both chose flavored milk over plain, orange or apple juice over other fruit varieties and sodas over water.
Kids are always the best first reactors to taste 😂

I'm watching this video a year late! Oh my . But Kool aid will never be found in American cinemas. I saw someone else try it on another video and wonder if people are just dumping it in a glass and not a pitcher mixed with enough water and limit the sweetener!?
Nachos are delicious! In America we would've added nacho cheese spread and salsa! Again delicious but not a cinema snack.
Ok. I'm starting to see this is more you trying American snacks during your movie night but not actually American movie snacks! In America we get buttered popcorn, soda like coke from a fountain and our candy snacks are in a box! No buckees, no warhead cans of pop, no Kool aid, no takis..., etc.. but your milkduds and the sour patch kids were more on point! Would love to see a recreation of this fun video but next time using real American movie snacks!
Hugs from America and see you in the next video!❤️

You know, I know we were here for the food and the movie, but I've been looking for replacements for our computer chairs. The last time I bought them, overstuffed executive chairs could be found anywhere and I made a few good decisions back then, that they lasted 15 years with constant use, but I can't find anything that comfortable now. Maybe, I should be looking for something a little different because those recliners look fabulous and comfortable.
