@@thecapturban In our town, we have a donut shop that is acknowledged as making the best donuts in the state. Someone tried to open a Krispy Kreme here, but it closed in less than 6 months. There is a Dunkin Donut near the interstate, but they don’t get local customers. And it’s the same with pretty much everything else. If you want Mexican food, go to a hole-in-the-wall restaurant. Oh my gosh I love this place. So so good. I live 3 hours away or I would be there constantly. You cannot drive from Fort Worth to Austin without stopping at Round Rock donuts.
So glad you guys are getting to try some local delicacies. As many of your followers have said, local spots are usually the best compared to the large chain restaurants and shops. Hope you guys have an amazing holiday here and you continue to come back for future holidays!
In Houston we eat the local brand Shipley’s. An old donut shop with kolaches. We also have the Kolaches Shop. They sell dozens of different types from sweet to savory. Bristol could use one and also Cardiff across the bridge into Wales. Glad you enjoyed the little bit you saw of Texas.
I was born in Houston and love Shipley's. We moved to the DFW area when I was 11, and I missed them. Luckily Shipley's expanded to my area about 6 or 7 years ago. Now I just need James Coney Island to do the same.
Congrats Mr H. You finally got to make this Texan jealous of you for a change. Glad to see you enjoyed your trip. Also chocolate Eclair is magical and Kolachi are heavenly.
Love the reaction, and based on what I have seen it seems like your family enjoyed your visit to Texas. I've lived in Texas my entire life and so many of our people are more than proud of living here and consider it a privilege. We have our problems and there are jerks like everywhere I suppose, but the vast majority of people in a state of around 30 million people, the jerks are the exception to the rule. I could likely say the same thing about every state, and it also seemed to hold true to our great neighbors in Florida when you visited there. Southern hospitality, friendliness, and manners may be considered old-fashioned by standards today, but we don't care in Texas. I live in a city with over 250,000 people and have literally met a person in my golf league give an extra shirt, towel, and the spare $25 he had packed in his bag to a person digging in the trash over the past summer. I'm so sorry you all seemed a little under-the-weather when you first arrived, but I hope you enjoyed your time and experiences and consider coming back at some point. I know a channel called TheBeesley's, and another channel called JonoGraham are dying to come to Texas and maybe it could be an event you all could coordinate. With as many people you have subscribed that know people (like the press passes at the State Fair), you all could very likely get offers to stay at places free, or get unique access to certain things (possibly a tailgate at a college football game), or a VIP Tour around Jerry's World. We love you guys and wanted to let you know that y'all are always welcome and to come back anytime and as often as you can. You guys are officially adopted by the great and friendly citizens of our great State of Texas!
Round Rock has the BEST donuts! We live in Round Rock and it takes a tremendous amount of willpower to not indulge daily. And then they go and open a new location right across from my grocery store! 😆 Our youngest isn't a cake fan, so his birthday in October had his favorite, a Texas Sized donut with candles in it. 💜 Thanks for the wonderful video and interview!

Me! I lived in Leander Texas many years ago. RR donuts are legendary.
I live in Cedar Park. Have been to Round Rock Donuts many times. They recently opened up a branch near me in Cedar Park now. We love Round Rock Donuts
We live in Killeen, Texas and anytime we head south on IH 35 we stop at RR donuts. Sometimes with a list from family and friends.
I graduated from Round Rock High School in 1977, so yes, I have had Round Rock Donuts. They opened in 1926. 🤠🍩🍩🍩
If I worked there I would let Alana have the whole doughnut shop.
The lesson we learned today is that local eateries beat national chains almost every time.

Always local eatery’s….💖

I used to live in Austin and have been there many times. They are the best!
Those donuts look phenomenal 😋
Your daughter says it all right in the first part of that video
How awesome! I live in Round Rock. They are my favorite donuts!
I used to live in Round Rock it’s really a nice place to be, I remember that donut shop it has been around forever, so good
You guys are the BEST! I check for your vids every single day. I'm so happy you enjoyed yourselves here! We bloody love you❣️❣️❣️
Aww thank you. We post every Thursday and Sunday, but try to bring some extra content on other days if we can
In Houston we eat the local brand Shipley’s.
Wow! Those donuts look so delish! and once again, I'm so happy ya'll are enjoying your visit in our great state!
Congrats Mr H.
You finally got to make this Texan jealous of you for a change.
Glad to see you enjoyed your trip.
Also chocolate Eclair is magical and Kolachi are heavenly.
I live near Cincinnati, OH. We have a “doughnut trail”. Too many good ones to name.
Round Rock Donuts are legendary!! So happy you got to experience them!!
Lovely people too !!! ♥️
Their glazed donut is unmatched.
Hey Jesse. We loved every mouthful of every donut
I really enjoy watching your family videos on TH-cam channel Hello welcome to the United States of America 😊😊😊
Mr H almost looked angry at how good it was😂😂😂
*jealous* i have just declared tomorrow my cheat day.....time to get some doughnuts and chocolate milk
I just happen to live in Round Rock, Texas, and I am happy you got to try some of the best donuts in the world!
North Florida checking in!👍
Donuts are my ultimate favorite!
I lived right near there in Well's Branch for 10 years and never tried one!
O MY GOD! looks so yummy
