Oh 😂... Love the expression 'Cook up a human' 😜. I just adore your humour Izzy and your enthusiasm for life... your amazing and can't wait to see you be a Mum... I know you'll just bring that 'human' up having the best life 🥰... Giving you a virtual hug... and Scout... who is adorable and just like my whippet... Hounds are so a breed on their own and are constant entertainment 😁🐾🐾. Looking forward to next week's vlog 👌💖🤗😘
Having just had a little one myself not long ago, there is a lot you can still do with baby just takes a bit more planning, and a fab thing to try out is baby friendly cinema screenings! We did our first post baby camping about 2 months post birth, and with a bit of extra kit and prep, it went a lot better than expected! Enjoy the pregnancy and the time before little one takes most of your time but also do some research on what baby friendly activities are around your are that are also good mama networking for you!
For the holidays, I’ve got a lot of family who don’t drink alcohol & making alcohol free mulled “wine” has become a favorite of mine! I’ve made several versions now simmering different pomegranate/cherry/grape/cranberry juices, with the oranges, spices, etc.
Tell you neighbours to pi## off, you have tax and insurance so you can park the van on any road as long as your not blocking a driveway or drop kerb… so excited for the baby 👶 xxx
October 22, 2024 Maryland, USA: Izzy this is another fabulous adventure. If you were wondering what to do after you and Tom van life, well do not worry. Scout is huge! LaBamba off and going. Oh my, Scout is going side by side when you do. You are too cute with the chatter and we love it. Can not wait for the Halloween. Scout is doing pretty good. Funny how he see;s himself in the camera. Izzy & Scout in transit!
Great video Izzy. You have the right attitude to pregnancy and giving birth just see how it goes. It's good you are managing to rest as well. Scout is adorable.
Dogs in vehicles in UK are supposed to be restrained. Take care you dont get into trouble. Glad you are out having a good time. Our neighbour used to complain about our motorhome outside our home but another neighbour said they would love it outside theirs so we did that. Are you going to be alright trekking In Spain as you are already tired.
Great video Izzy , always look forward to hearing from you and to meet scout was great, your such a wonderful person and we both agree your going to make a wonderful mummy too take care xxx
Dogs in vehicles MUST be restrained in some manner for safety. Either a tether, harness, adapted seat belt, dog-crate, or a grill between the dog and driver (usually behind rear seats in a car.) 1) So that the dog cannot interfere with the driver 2) So that in an emergency brake situation, the dog does not become a loose missile. UK Highway Code Rule 57 Be safe.
My friend moved house and her well-behaved cats sat on the back seat. However, she crashed the car. She managed to find the oldest cat but the younger one was never seen again - ran off frightened no doubt but poor kitty might have been injured, we’ll never know. Now we all put our cats in a cage when travelling - we share the cage between friends. A tip: we put one cat in a very smart wicker hamper-type cage - on way to the vets he ripped it open by chewing and clawing. The noise of the scared cat and sight of seeing shredded wicker in the air was awful. We stopped the car, wrapped what was left of the hamper cage in a travel blanket and a friend held it down while we continued to the vets.
Already commented on. Harness attached to a seat belt mounting would be legal ,save you in the the event of an accident, save your dog and cut down on vet's bills.
Thanks for the latest video, Izzy! :) For the record - I was 31 when our baby arrived and my wife was 35. We were both first time parents and when we brought our baby son home from the hospital, we just looked at each other and laughed. I said, "Are they really trusting us with a baby?" You work it out. It becomes the norm and is, after all, fundamentally very natural. We were quite simple in our self-guidance at night times, when the baby can be crying and waking you up constantly, which is exhausting. We took it in turns, one night for me, the next night my wife for getting up and doing the tending duties. That way, we helped each other catch up on sleep. We also kept it simple and asked ourselves the basics if he was crying in the night: 1) Was he fed? 2) Was he 'winded'? 3) was his nappy/diaper dry and comfortable? If all these things were checked off, honestly, we let him cry and didn't respond. At that age, the Id is everything and babies will demand company just for the sake of it. We even had him in his cot in his own room from very early on. He was fine and soon slept through the night. Of course, if he had a cold or a temperature or if we suspected any kind of illness we'd let go of these 'rules' and tend to him. We were lucky - he was great and slept for ten hours each night from about a month old. But, I know this is rare! We really were very lucky, but I think part of that was the discipline we put in place as well. We didn't creep around the house if he was taking a nap. We continued to flush the toilets, talk at a normal rate, use the washing machine, have the tv on etc. We wanted him to get used to everyday noises and it worked for us. You and Tom will be fantastic parents, Izzy! By the way - which haunted pub are you staying in? The Skirrid Inn, or The Jamaica Inn? :) I'd guess the latter?
Nice to see you out and about in the van. Funny that you chose an adult only camp site without realising just a few months before you have your baby! 😆 Can’t wait to see the Halloween haunted pub stay, and your solo trip to Spain. You’re doing just as much travelling as ever, and with the exception of a few months of newborn nesting in the winter months I’m sure you’ll be back out going places with the baby by the summer next year. It’s part of who you are and baby will grow up with travel being a normal part of family life, my kid has. ☺️
I found it amusing that the camodite doesn't allow Transits. Dont they loke Fords?....I guess it's OK if you turn up in a Vauxhall, VW, Citroen van etc 🤷🏻
Omg 😳 tell your neighbours to go and do one what is your home? So you can’t park your vehicle outside your Them to move, you’re paying the rent Like you’re living in The Van are you you’re living in your house that’s ridiculous
Why would anybody drink that, You know what it looks like and it just sends your brain back before stone age flintstones before we could stand upright and walk

A seat belt to attach to the dogs collar and clip into seatbelt is available and advisable when u have a dog in the front of the van
Aww, Scout is adorable.

Really enjoying your content Izzy, looking forward to next week's spooky Halloween episode! 😳
Yay, thank you!
looking well izzy. The stew looked great. Don't feel you have to do too much to make your vlogs. Take it easy.
Yep
I live in a van with a dog. She's little and very sweet. Good idea to just go to away for the weekend. X
Scout is highly strung - when he is yawning he is releasing/exhibiting stress - rather you than me lolz...
Yes, it’s a greyhound thing. Our greyhound pants when he’s nervous, and yawns
@@hollyexley Thanks for that affirmation/confirmation Holly - much appreciated - :-) :-) :-) ...
you are such a character
Hi Izzy loved this video looked a nice camp site
Thanks so much :) It really was
If its a small leak ask them to patch it or Tom patch it. No need to change it all out.
Scout is panting because he’s a little stressed not hot but he looks fine 😊
What is Tom training to do?
National Trust I think.
😊
Holaaaaaaa como es tas me gustan tus vídeos yo solo ablo Espanyol per doña me pero eso es muy bonito😘🌹😘👏👏👏👏👏👏
❤
Scout is such a super dog…. ❤ do you think you might get a dog when you’ve got the little one. ????
your hubby there looks slightly different.. cant put my finger on it..
The 4 legs perhaps???...
Scout look bit ruff ruff
You can tell your new to motherhood. When you said that you’re 6 months pregnant so I have 4 months to go 😅 that’s why we love you Issy. ❤
I found it amusing that the camodite doesn't allow Transits. Dont they loke Fords?....I guess it's OK if you turn up in a Vauxhall, VW, Citroen van etc 🤷🏻
Will the Airways let you on a plane that late in your pregnancy?
hi
Excellent vid Izzy, really enjoyed watching, but I've got to say Tom's looking a bit ruff...
Haha thanks!
Not the same without Tom
will you and tom be doing a babymoon in la bamba before baby comes,
Overcome by the constant farts, the dog got up and opened the window :-)
:O
Enjoyable video but regardless of the law, Scout could be seriously injured or worse if you need to break suddenly 😢

Hope the owner of the dog does not watch this video.totally irresponsible.what if you had to slam the brakes on.BRAKES the dog instantly.
Can I politely say that you either watch Issy’s content and post positively OR don’t watch. I’m sure she can do without the negativity.
@@scotthenshaw8539 I politely reply you can say whatever you want to me .but it is not going to stop me speaking my mind and the truth..
@@olliemilburn4842 I never (for a second) thought it would 😀
@@scotthenshaw8539 so what was the point of saying it.???
Some people have a way of giving advice without being a twat
You clearly don't have that ability
dogs eat poop off the ground then lick people without their consent. What would happen to a human if it did the same thing?
Your model Transit was the worst built by Ford. Every previous or later model was better.
Great positive comment when so much more to say on this vlog.
