What a disgusting thing to say! How uncouth! Masha Donna Walker sends me on holiday with 9 Perfect Strangers and you are swimming with your son, Benn and I haven't got the foggiest who you are? You know me but I don't know you! I am trying to take a break from reading a heartbreaking book on my Kindle by Leah Mercer and having a cool down swim to take my mind off my grief and silent tears of losing Sarah, having just found out. Somehow, families think I abandoned them when the Russian registrar stole them without telling me or showing me. Then they start picking on me and abusing me and my daughter when I am an innocent person grieving for my stolen children! The lack of understanding puts me off big time. Then they get the neighbours to poison my food with mold. Happy days! 😔☮️ Innocent trying to be peacekeeper!

@@mikeyd946 easier said than done with them putting a needle in my jaw causing lock jaw, extreme headache, adrenal fatigue, sore joints and sore throat, blisters in the mouth and sinus pain and ringing in the ears. Mold allergy toxicity does seem to knock the lithium out of your batteries. I am trying! 😔

She was the only reason I watched the show, period. She was a hoot, the voice, the way she delivered her lines, and she appeared just enough to not make her obnoxious just crazy funny.

I met Megan at some kind of event in Burbank. God bless her. She was almost shy! I had to tell her point blank how wonderful she was and she was so reserved and humble.
She came to perform musically in London I went to see her show, it was very different from her acting and somewhat morbid, at one point she addressed the audience and said 'By now you all probably thinking I am nothing like Karen Walker, disappointed, on the verge of suicide' ... someone shouted No we love you Meghan ... and all agreed cheering and clapping, to which she replied in Karen's Voice 'Good cause she's not coming' the show was amazing she was amazing, I would pass out talking to her she's a great singer! Lucky you.
I feel like her and Nick Offerman are one couple who I’d love to be at a dinner party with.
Karen; "Honey why do I need a will I'm going to live forever." She looks at the floor, "That is the deal, right Red?" The scene with her appearing to attempt suicide while actually going for the vodka bottle that is chilling outside the window is classic comedy.

I don’t know why everyone always goes on about friends being such a great sitcom, will and grace was so wonderful it made friends seem like a bunch of monotone robots who “date” each other in an awkward way that make it seem like incest
Mostly because friends didn't rely on anyone's (or maybe a little Phoebe) to make comedy, they were changing the characters and evolving the story arc, which didn't happened to W&G. And you said it, the entire series was relying on Karen's back... Do not misunderstand me I was a huge fan of both sitcoms! But Friends had more characters and colors and this was all about Karen (and maybe a little Rosita)
1st episode she had a normal voice. The high pitched sound adds soo much to her character

If you watch the first season of All in the Family a similar voice change happened with Edith Bunker.
It's used as a gag lol but the fact that Grace kept giving Karen checks for work and Karen never cashed them is a real big deal lol
Then there was the time that Stan put Karen on a budget and so she DID cash them and suddenly Grace was super overdrawn.

There was another throw away joke later in the series where she said something about working and mentioned paychecks, and you realize she had actually been writing grace checks for years and grace acted like that was normal since she didn’t know any better lol

I LOVED Karen when she and Beverly sparred, those 2 were made for one another! But my favorite line is when Karen is walking Rosario down the aisle at her "wedding", and Rosario looks down and says, "Oh no, something's ripped." To which Karen says, "Yeah...me."

That show wouldn't have gotten past the first season without Karen, and the witty, rapid-fire exchanges with Jack. The Will and Grace scenes were always just filler content for me. Great character, up there with Elaine Benes in the great-written and well-played female character hall of fame.
Christine Baranski was the first to create the character when she was on the show Cybill! Megan Mullally even said she based Karen off of MaryAnn of Cybill.

"Will & Grace" or the show where a secondary character who was supposed to be a one-note instead takes over and becomes the ONLY reason I watched this show. Karen DOMINATED this show, with Jack a distant second. I call this the "Urkel" effect. No one remembers anyone from "Family Matters" except for Urkel, another secondary character who also dominated that show.
