Otalia 02/23/09 Part 1. Olivia and Natalia attend Coop's funeral/memorial service. Phillip scrares everyone into attention by firing a gun into the air. Phillip gives a heartfelt speech about forgiveness. Natalia worries about Olivia who is very upset over Phillip's presence.

In his own way Alan was right. Coop should have known that Beth is very unstable. The mere fact that she continued to live in The Spaulding Mansion after her and Philip were divorced tells you something. Also Coop has no idea that Beth has always needed someone to take care of her. Rick, Phillip, Edmund, Alan, Lujack. She's never learned independence and Lillian never taught her either.

I imagine if Maureen hadn't been killed off, she would've been able to help Beth in that regard.

@@frankieseward8667 Yep. I only started watching around 1995 with Matt & Vanessa. I told UK Soap Fans about what happened with Tina Sloan (Ex-Lillian) and most of all what they did to Michael Zaslow (Ex Roger Thorpe) with the ALS and they were stunned. On UK Soaps they don't think twice about dealing with Issues. On Eastenders A UK Soap they have a Character named Isaac Baptiste who is Schizophrenic, on another Soap Opera there's a character named Ryan who has Cerebal Palsy, They have Actors with Down's Syndrome, Wheelchair Bound, even an actress who doesn't have have Legs. A UK Soap would have had Michael Zaslow on their Show to educate folks about ALS.

They didn`t think they were important. Sometimes characters go away and they are never mentioned again. Look at how they forgot Elizabeth, Justin, and Samantha. They are all Phillip`s "Fam" and they were never mentioned after 1991.
