Grant is one of those RARE actors that just PULLS us in...seriously...that man is one of the finest actors I have ever witnessed! I am soooo glad that GL got him back...this scene was brilliant- when S.O.B Alan said that sh*t, Phillip didn't even speak...his face said IT ALL-priceless moment! It seems that every moment with Grant on GL is priceless-always was and always will...well, for as long as GL lasts, anyway..... =(
I loved the part where Alan tells Buzz that Phillip should have left Coop to die and Phillip gets this look on his face and then steps aside so that Buzz could hit Alan. I'm loving Phillip 's return so far.
Alan's Weddings were always a disaster. Annie gets arrested, Doris blackmails him, he bullies Beth, and Phillip kissed Olivia on their Wedding Day. Phillip and Harley were like Alan & Hope back in the day. She tried to show him a "Normal" Life but Alan butted in as did Beth and she used Lizzie's Leukemia to get closer to him.
Still great acting towards the end of GL. Powerful scene, Grant and Justin were amazing. I know these final years were tough but the production isn’t AWFUL. I can deal with the outdoor scenes and camera work, but the music choices were awful! Didn’t fit GL at all.
Wouldn't it be awful if Alan said "Coop couldn't hold on to Beth any more than you could hold on to Jenna, I remember how upset you were when we spent time together."

I totally agree, that I'm loving Phillip's return as well. I really laughed with Phillip stepped aside and it was so appropriate.
