At the end they were given gold for the single 'Deep Silent Complete' and Platinum for the Wishmaster album. Wishmaster had been out for a good half a year. There is about 5.5 million people in Finland and platinum was 30k back then, so it's kinda nuts.

They did military 2...3 years before...check a concert where they do Sacrament on Wilderness and Getsemane ... in 1998 ... they have short hair after military. Man, they all look so young. Now I feel so old. This is one of their most popular songs and fits Tarja's operatic vocals perfectly. Sadly, they dropped it because Annette felt 'uncomfortable' singing it. Frankly, she couldn't sing it. Glad to see they have bought it back with Floor as it is an awesome song. really miss watching Jukka do his magic. From what I have read, his insomnia is under control. he is still with Nightwish and runs the day-to-day business side. I saw a comment where Tuomas still gets together with him to play poker. One of Nightwish’s best known songs. This is one that really belongs to Tarja. Anette was never comfortable singing it. Yes, you don't care when Floor butchers things because you love her but you make sure you write your little remarks when Tarja does, in your opinion. Funny how that works.Always remember to pick sides.Go listen to your Fishmaster.I'll listen to Nightwish's Wishmaster.Petty people being petty.
@@jaanahedemaki6993 You're funny.
Wishmaster and Fishmaster sound identical, it's all about what you hear... or don't. Anyway, I never liked this song to begin with, so it's all just for fun. Get some sense of humour. Thou art taking things way too seriously. :)

"Get some sense of humour. "
I saw the relentless trashing of Tarja and Anette when I found reaction videos.I'll get a sense of humor when Tarja and Anette gets a break. When do you think it will happen?Never. And I've seen that parody video. I think it's quite basic, didn't impress me with it's "humor." Childish. If anything it eggs those individuals on who like to make remarks about the accent. Like crays would need any encouragement.
y'all should check out Stargazers from Buenos Aires 2011 with Tajra's solo band. The energy is rediculous and Tarja kills it as only she can
Tarja the best one forever.....i dont like floor......nightwish was with Tarja.
When we were introduced to Nightwish, we saw Floor first. We adored her from the beginning. After time and we saw Tarja and Annette. We understand why each was special to their fans, Rock on! Thanks for watching.
Jukka's name is pronounced Yooka with a long u sound.
No. It is more like Youcka, but you need to cut that "you" a bit short, so it's Yocka.
Actually no, you do not pronounce Jukka right. J is fine, u is not.
Of course Tarja is a good vocalist, but her accent, vibrato and operatic voice is not my cup of tea, and I'm not the only Nightwish fan who thinks so, sorry for the Tarja fans.
thank you for sharing that with the whole class, humphrey. Shocked and upset to hear that not every single Nightwish fan in the world likes Tarja, but that's why we have people in the comment section reminding us ❤ bless you
TARJA is so much more exquisite on every level
Thank you very much for reminding us of this and taking our feelings into consideration.
"but her accent, vibrato and operatic voice is not my cup of tea, and I'm not the only Nightwish fan who thinks so, sorry for the Tarja fans"
Man, those Nightwish singers and their accents! While you are at it: Did you hear that Christmas song that Floor butchered with her accent?! 👀 Sorry for the Nightwish fans that we have people like you among us who can't give singer a break because YOU think YOUR OPINION about the accent IS SO IMPORTANT to let everyone know. People with common sense will understand that everyone has an accent even when they speak their mother tongue not to mention when they sing not in their mother tongue. But you want to play petty games and drag a Nightwish singer who does their best at that moment.
This is what you said about Floor in that christmas song:
"Floor is an amazing charismatic story teller!"
Nothing about Floor's HEAVY accent! Imagine that! 👀 But ofcourse you don't understand the language begin with.Go judge Tarja some more. You do it so well.
I guess Humphrey is from the Netherlands, judging by the name, and a Floor fanboy, not a Nightwish fan
so his comment is not surprising
🇬🇧 Norfolk for the ride Jukka pronounced you ker
