I was at the Power of the Duelist pre-release, maybe they were called pack-drafts back in the day! My era of playing Yugioh was during that GOAT era and stopped playing around 08-09. Just now getting back into it after stumbling across your videos... the nostalgia hit hard!! Love these videos
I like all the packs from that era. I was HUGE into GX. Also, an old obscure box I remember I doubt anyone can find, it was a repack. Toys R Us, ages ago, it had a promo maybe Dark Magician or from set in a small window. It had the old school yugi duelist small binder, and a bunch of packs. Maybe sleeves. It is a very fractured memory but I got one on sale once back in the day to open when I was still playing a lot. Wonder if any of those are around. Also, Swing of Memories, that is by far my favorite card of all time. Back in the day I made a Gogiga Gagagigo Deck and would buff it up, sacrifice or tribute it, then bring it back temporarily with Swing of Memories at the right moment to swing in for a win. Good times. Back then the card game was still a nailbiter at times and lots of luck and rarely had the otk and ftk stuff going on. I miss those days.
I've never seen a product like this before. I also haven't seen Zera the Mant since I've played Yu-Gi-Oh Forbidden Memories. What a blast from the past. 😄
Sick Diabolos pull! As for my favorite set in here I think I have to agree about Gladiator’s Assault. Not just because of the potential but also because it introduced the Gladiator Beasts which are such a cool archetype both aesthetically and gameplay wise!

Tactical Evolution or POTD are definitely some of my favorites! Love crystal beast archetype, but Power of the Duelist was such a cool set and chasing the neos fusions was always so cool!

Those were cool! The chaos box yesterday made me stop in to my Walmart today and they had 15 boxes!! I grabbed one and had the magic kuriboh sleeves which were cool
Breaker would be the pack i would be most excited for. Oh and Heavy Storm... that reminds me of the good old days. I traded with someone from my City online. I don't know anymore what i gave but i know i should've gotten Heavy Storm for that. Didn't know that guy and i was happy to get my heavy storm. I placed my cards in our letter box back then and wasn't home. He took the card(s) and placed his card(s) there. Later the day i went to the letter box and was excited to take the heavy storm. In the end it was "only" a Giant Trunade card. He has mistaken something and thought i meant that card. I was a bit disappointed and never got a heavy storm. But it was okay for me. Mistakes happen and it was still just a good time with Yu-Gi-Oh :)

These are actually pretty cool setups for 3rd party blister thingys. My favorite pack has to be the power of the duelist and the search for the forbidden yugioh card! We will get it one day!
speaking of 1st edition ultimate rares i still have black horn of heaven, future fusion, destiny hero dasher, and destiny end dragoon tough not in gradable condition they are still nice to have.

I e definitely never seen these before that but these are really awesome. If Cuber Dragon ulti got pulled then it would be that set. But I’m terms of set overall, my favorite it either Force of the Breaker or Tactical Evolution, 2 of my favorite sets.
With regards to ultis being more common than ultras in some gx sets - I don't think Konami specifically said "oh, let's make ultras more rare." I think it was just a byproduct of Konami trying to promote this cool new rarity (ultis) to the public by making ultis easier to pull. It was never an ulti vs ultra thing. If you make one rarity more common, another rarity has to become more rare, and the rarity they chose to replace the ultra slot were ultis.

My favorite of those packs is definitely Gladiator's Assault. Super expensive cards in there and glads are just such an iconic archetype.

I think Force of the Breaker is my favorite. It has two of my favorite GX archetypes: Crystal Beast and Volcanic
