It takes a while to simulate yes. Not weeks...but hours in this project for sure. Did you get some good results though?

For some reason when I was doing this the particle system just emmited particles in one spot and none of the particles spawned around the mesh, how do I fix this? (5:55)

Principle is nice, but you totally missed to apply scale of the container domain, you can clearly see the voxel dimensions are too big.
Hmmm. I'm pretty sure the voxel dimensions are determined by the resolution divisions no? I cranked it up pretty high but you are right I could have increased a bit. It's a tradeoff between speed and a decent result.
@@LightArchitect you need to apply scale to the container geometry or the voxel res is not applied correctly.
FOR the love of GOD and all that is sacred with tasteful judicious use of filters STOP with all the chromatic aberration bs.
It ruins your renders (IMHO) and has become your signature overindulgence.
Chromatic aberration has its place in super shallow depth of field images or as part of certain very thick-lensed projector lamps lighting effects.
But at the edge of an image like 2 jet planes in the sky with huge depth of field ? It looks like the "camera" was using an acrylic lens from a cereal box toy . Why do this? It serves only to jump out as a fakery being employed to attempt to be "photo realistic" in the context a CGI render.
Stop it PLEASE.
It makes me dislike ALL your videos.
