Oh yes totally agree, also here are my no1 drummers : Kendrick Scott, Jimmy McBride, Ronald Bruner Jr, Damien Schmitt, Carter Beauford, Vinnie Colaiuta, Will Kennedy, Eric Harland, Nicolas Viccaro, Horacio Hernandez, Dave Weckl, Tony Royster Jr, Amir Bressler, Simons Philipps, Shannon Forrest (fantastic drumming on the Lenny Leblanc album "above all"). And man regarding jazz music here is the goat : André Ceccarelli (74 yo) still kicking ass like never and he is the drummer for Sylvain luc. Also André is a Yamaha drummer artist. Incredible drumming.
I forgot to mention : Carter McLean, Marcus Baylor, Marcus Gilmore, Francisco de rubeis, fransisco de mela and Nate wood (playing the bass and the drum at the same time haha)
