I got one about a year ago use it now for a backup after I got the powermatic 3+ Both good machines but the 3+ is so much faster and easier. A little more money but it pays for itself the first time you use it.

When I roll my own, powermatic 2, with zen papers, and tobacco cut for cigarettes... smoking burns. It's like I'm smoking 2nd hand smoke. It hurts! They are just as firm as my Virginia Slims. I do notice that the tobacco is looser in the tube by the filter, no matter how much I try to fill the tube evenly. It just burns my throat.

LOL. Powermatic 3 is the only truly efficient and fast rolling machine. I watch your posts. But Powermatic 3 is the beast.

But I have heard the powermatic 3 is finicky with the tobacco it feeds and the machines can break easily

@@anthonyioane4438 I've rolled over 14K cigs in the time I've had mine. Less than 6 jams. No issues feeding. Best money ever spent. I can roll a carton of Virginia/North Carolina grown tobacco for about $10. Including the tubes. There is no comparison.

Takes a about an hour using an electric finisher that trims and does a slight crimp on the ends. I thought I was gonna have to replace that finisher and Amazon didn't have that same model. On inspection 2 screws had backed out and it broke a wire to the motor. 10 minute fix. Back in business. Those two items have saved me thousands of dollars over the years I've used them. Not saying cigarette smoking is a good thing. But now it's a lot cheaper and the quality is far better. No FSC going out and less smell. Better quality ingredients yield a better finished product. Flavorful and consistent.

Can you please clarify, is there a Powermatic 4 and a Powermatic 4+ ? I’m thinking no, as you say the Powermatic 2 is the 4’s predecessor. Is that correct, there is not a PM 4.

As far as i know there is only a powematic 2,3and 4. I have the 4. Actually i have two of them. I bought the second one to have as a backup but the first one refuses to die. I've had it for about 4 years now and I roll for me and my wife. No telling how many hundreds of thousands of cigarettes I have rolled with it.

Lmao you are right..I'm guessing he is a salesman and not a smoker..I brought this machine yesterday and jeez it uses some tobacco, compared to rolling with papers and thin filter tips. Otherwise it's a great machine. If i buy over the counter tobacco at $140 for 50 grams in Sydney Australia that's some serious money.
