i wonder if it's possible to change colors in the forward pass, rather than the return pass like in the video? i'd like to crochet a cozy that has a letter "T" on the side, so i'd need to change color in the forward pass to keep it nice and neat. i'll just have to buy a double ended hook and try it out.
maybe you could make a video to show how to use this method on wide projects and turning in the end to do the double ended crochet (not in the round but as an afghan)
hello Thanks for sharing this Video. One question can I use this technique in flat Project? do you have tutorial for flat Project please? Thank you very much
Anyone know of another video for this? I love a challenge, but I've watched 14 times and can't figure out how she is picking up the 'first stitch'. One important thing I figured out is that you have to make sure your beginning chain doesn't twist or curl or you are completely hosed.
Beautiful textures !! but a lot of questions... a lot of practice !!!! thanks for making an effort of articulation, clear even so I'm french !! Leelou
HA pretty much summarizes the moment...I was so confused trying to figure it out on my own, but this makes sense!
this is a neat vid, very well done i have some of these n i have been messing around w them not knowing if i was doing right or not ty
My grandmother used to carve these hooks it of dowel rods so she could get the length she needed for double sided Afghans.
Wow! That's amazing.
Wish you had done this with a lighter color. Maybe even a tea shirt yarn. I have bookmarked this to try it again.
Fantastic...can't wait to try this!
Well, that was about the cheesiest thing I've ever heard, but it did help me learn how to do Tunisian in the round!
thank you, I love this stitch.

this method can also be used on wide projects, where the crochet hook is too short - crochet the width of the project in parts and turn in the end

@gh717 just use one color then. You need two balls of yarn anyway.
It kind of reminds me of helical knitting
If I could find this here, I'd buy them all.
can i do all the tunisahon stitches this way
Is any other way, without double hook ?
