- The Tunisian Half Double Crochet stitch is such a beautiful stitch. This stitch has great texture and is so fun to crochet. This stitch is similar to the traditional half double and is so plush!

Love Tunisian crochet but haven’t seen this stitch before,it’s nice and will definitely be doing it!💜
Pretty stitches . Love your hook. Your video never disappoints.
I have literally been watching all of your videos thank you so much for all of the tutorials they are so easy to follow!!!
Very nice!! Thanks I didn’t know about this stitch.
Looks very neat and tidy❤
I have seen how to do the Tunisian stitch, but I've never done it. This Tunisian half double stitch is beautiful.
Love this! Thanks so much for sharing 🙂
I will have to get one of those hooks because I want to try that...... I can see a simple scarf in my future.
Thanks. I’m going to make a dishcloth with this stitch today.
❤thank you so much for this video
Thank you.
Great tutorial and very helpful. Where did you get that beautiful hook?
Thank you! That hook is from my Addi Click set 😊
Love the stitch. I’m new to Tunisian crochet. How would I do a blanket using this stitch?
I want to know this same thing. How do you do a blanket with this stitch?
Would be helpful to see you work 1 or 2 more rows as it's difficult to figure out where to place the hook after the first 2 rows.
What size hook are you using?
Who's hook is that? I want to get them please! Thank you
Much too fast. Would like to know when to go thru 3 loops on return pass, is the 4rd st your yarn over you did in the forward pass?
You can slow down youtube videos! It's in the settings, usually on the lower right of the video.
On the return pass you go through 3 stitches every time. The only exception is the very first stitch, which is a single chain to create the edge of the work.
So on the forward pass you basically pick up a bunch of unfinished half double crochets, then on the return you chain one and then finish each stitch just like a normal half double, pulling through 3 loops at a time.
I hope that helps!
To fast to far away to see
