Even with the old plastic chicken containers, I always placed them in a cardboard box - usually one from the produce or vitamin areas. That way any spillage in my car or fridge was contained. With less plastic I can now fit 2 in the same box. Learned the cardboard box trick many years ago from a Costco employee!
I am sure Costco will address the leaking bags. They are always on top of top quality. I bought one in the bag and had no leakage. People are over reacting!
I freeze those chickens and reheat them. Freeze them right in the bag. You wouldn’t know the difference from when you bought it. I have never had a problem with those bags.
Fyi- for those lactose intolerant shoppers, those egg bites mostly contain whey, which is what causes us problems. Always check the ingredients before buying. I just buy the kirkland croissants with fried egg cheese and bacon . So easy and good. I alt between the Reds eggwich.
The bagged chicken is better now. It doesn't leak and is easily resealed. Also, it takes up less space in the refrigerator and tastes exactly the same.
No it is not. We have had it at our Costco for about six weeks. Our channel covers Costco and the Costco Business Center,.this particulate change is the worse one lately.
I put either style of packaging in a cardboard box to contain possible spills. Often found the old type were packaged hot and juices leaked. When I get home I just recycle the cardboard if it’s clean. Easy peasy!
I prefer the taste of the Sam's Club rotisserie chicken. The Scotch Brite No Scratch Scrub Sponges, 24 pack, is a good deal but the Costco website in my area of Michigan has the price at $18.49 so minus $4.00 would be $14.49. If this is correct, it would be more expensive than at your Costco which is $14.49 - $4.00 = $10.00.
Just bought the rotisserie chicken in the bag. It seemed smaller than in the plastic container. The cooking time wasn’t adjusted, so it was overcooked and fell apart when carving.
You know if you roll the chicken in the bag back and forth over and over, it will shred the chicken. Then all you do is pick out the bones. Maybe the bags not so bad.
You should do a taste test of the Costco rotisserie chicken and the sams club rotisserie chicken. The Costco chicken here in California has a chemical taste it’s awful. The sams club chicken is full of flavor so good!! Have a great weekend Steve and Peg 😊
Put them in a separate cardboard box. I did that with the old style containers too because i was tried of them leaking - often due to being sold while still hot
I love the new bags I shove them right in my overstuffed fridge and they squeeze in and I don’t have to dispose of those annoying big plastic containers
Why is there not a nutrition label of fats, cholesterol and sodium etc, etc on these birds? What's in the brine the birds are soaked in, how much sodium sodium sodium!
@@Luvs2Travel The Scrub Daddy and the Scrub Mommy both have the same trademark eyes, spiky hair and smiling mouths. The eyes help you keep a good grip on the sponge while you scrub, and the smile is perfect for scrubbing both sides of silverware, spatulas and other utensils. Both sponges also feature the company's famous scrubbing FlexTexture foam, which reacts to different temperatures: firm in cold water, soft in warm. But while Scrub Daddy has FlexTexture on both sides, Scrub Mommy has something different up her sleeve. One side of Scrub Mommy features FlexTexture, while the other is made of ResoFoam, which is denser and absorbs more water to create extra suds.
We have had those chicken bags at our warehouse for about six weeks,.... they are awful ! They leak, you can not serve out of the bag (like if you pick up for a picnic), can not leave in bag to place in refrigerator. Worse move ever Costco,... there has to be a better way!
Scrub Mommy's are better than the scrub Daddy's. It's not so much the design that's different. It's that the scrub Mommy has a spung on one side and the original spung Daddy on the other side.
I cannot figure why you have anything good to say about the Costco chicken in a bag. The new checken in a bag is just a much smaller chicken than they had previously. Plus the quality of the one we had last night was poor at best. They must think they are fooling the consumer!
I don't think I will ever buy the Rotisserie chicken again at Costco. I heard of nightmares where people have had the bags leak in their car and the juice all over the place staining the carpet or seats of the car. That was a bad move on Costco. They need to go back to the plastic containers
The old hard plastic chicken container leaked through a box on my brand new car seat. I like the plastic very much. I still slide them meat department oink bag.

My channel covers Costco and we love Costco,….but the bagged chicken is awful! It leaks, can not store in refrigerator because it has vent holes, does not transport easily without getting chicken juice on other items. We do not like it. We have cut back on the chicken and will probably stop buying it,…unless they let us bring our own container. 🤷♂️
Thank you for another informative video. I have always wanted to know the difference between these two so I looked it up: "The only difference between the Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy is the dual-sided FlexTexture and ResoFoam on the Scrub Mommy. It's a combo that ultimately makes Scrub Mommy a more versatile and effective product."
I read that the Rotisserie Chickens in bags at Costco don't taste good and have a chemical taste. I was in Costco a few days ago and didn't buy it. My friend also said it doesn't taste good. People are also giving bad reviews on other Costco products, the croissants, bagels are now made by Costco instead of Einstein Bagels, large blueberry muffins - which I purchased - and doesn't have much taste. What's going on at Costco - are they told to make and sell Fake Food?
I have Costco, Sam’s and BJ’s. I think BJ has the best price. Costco has make too much money their service and checkout are not customer friendly. I’m keeping only bj membership.

I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing. You make my day.
Thanks for the review. I have a few things on my list.
I freeze those chickens and reheat them. Freeze them right in the bag. You wouldn’t know the difference from when you bought it. I have never had a problem with those bags.
We appreciate you. 🎉😊
Hello beautiful family glad to see you again
Fyi- for those lactose intolerant shoppers, those egg bites mostly contain whey, which is what causes us problems. Always check the ingredients before buying. I just buy the kirkland croissants with fried egg cheese and bacon . So easy and good. I alt between the Reds eggwich.
I'll have to look for those at my Costco. I've never seen them in the refrigerated section. Are they in the freezer section?
Hey there my husband and wife
The bagged chicken is better now. It doesn't leak and is easily resealed. Also, it takes up less space in the refrigerator and tastes exactly the same.
Big fan as well of the bags. Had the hard plastic ones leak several times.
It does leak AND into you cars, onto other items and/ or shopping bag.👎👎👎
No it is not. We have had it at our Costco for about six weeks. Our channel covers Costco and the Costco Business Center,.this particulate change is the worse one lately.

To Early for Halloween. Holidays so commercialized now😢

Does this sale start today the 20th?
Just bought the rotisserie chicken in the bag. It seemed smaller than in the plastic container. The cooking time wasn’t adjusted, so it was overcooked and fell apart when carving.
For the chicken all you need to do is grab a cardboard box and put it in so won’t leak onto your car
You can also put it in one of the plastic bags for other meats
I put my bagged chicken in a large plastic food saver with a lid.
My daughter has been stuck in ALANTA airport since the shutdown. She’s not a happy camper.
We have always had those hot chicken bags in Australia 🇦🇺 but our hot chickens are $12.00 each 🤦♀️
Thanks
You know if you roll the chicken in the bag back and forth over and over, it will shred the chicken. Then all you do is pick out the bones. Maybe the bags not so bad.
The scrub mommy has a sponge on one side. The daddy does not have a sponge.
The scrub mommy has the hard side and soft side, the scrub daddy has the hard side on both sides.
No difference in the taste of the chicken since the package change.
You should do a taste test of the Costco rotisserie chicken and the sams club rotisserie chicken. The Costco chicken here in California has a chemical taste it’s awful. The sams club chicken is full of flavor so good!! Have a great weekend Steve and Peg 😊
I’ve had the opposite finding in my area. The Sam’s had zero flavor and was always kind of rubbery.
The bag leaks or the bag I had did leak because I had chicken juice all on my trunk floor.
Put them in a separate cardboard box. I did that with the old style containers too because i was tried of them leaking - often due to being sold while still hot
I hope you make it to 50,000 subscribers this year.
For gods sake put the chicken in one of the meat bags. It’s not difficult
I think s scrub mommy is a little smaller and fit in your hand better?

Scrub Mommy has a sponge on the other side.
Thanks for the info.

Scrub mommy has 2 sides scrubby & sponge vs scrub daddy is only scrubber like , and yes the face difference of course …👍🏻

Scrub mommy has sponge on one side
Scrub mommy’s have a sponge side, scrub daddy doesn’t. Mommy’s are 100% better!

Two thumbs up

Plus all the bad ingredients in the chicken. My husband threw up two times from it..
The old hard plastic chicken container leaked through a box on my brand new car seat. I like the plastic very much. I still slide them meat department oink bag.
*meat department pink plastic bag. Not "oik@ bag. Ha.

Nope, it’s not the same.
Drama Queen.
