To me, the change ups feel like a flex. You can't box them into a singular identity. They'll give you a whole range in a singular song just cuz they can.
NMIXX is clearly about mixpop, mix songs and something new.

The change ups are basically them showing off that they can do any genre! It’s like with SNSD’s I Got A Boy… mixing two very different genres that unexpectedly sound good together.

i know so many people hate the mixxpop concept but i think it's so interesting and fun to listen to
i feel like their mixes now blend into the songs a lot more than they used to (eg o.o)
even though i adore o.o, i like it more now that it all feels like 1 song rather than 2 or 3
Cool as F video w the captive prisoner motif, zebra suit inspired fashion (even put in an actual zebra!) and "I wanna dash" chorus with motive to break the hell out. The final sign showing "Hey you bastards I'm still here" taken from movie "Papillon" when Steve McQueen finally escapes from Devils Island penal colony after many years of an unjust imprisonment. Highly recommend that movie even though it is a bit old it is a classic.
the groups name is literally nMIXX for mixxpop , they will keep the change-ups and I'm happy they are keeping true to the groups concept despite the initial hate because no one is doing it like them, this song is def gonna be a soty nom.
